    What impresses me the most of the Neo Fighter remains in a level controllable attitude despite torque it was never designed for. That's some good design and engineering from Tamiya.

    2 years later I stuck this cheap goolrc 3650 in a 25 year old Tamiya Sand Viper on those funky Wltoys wheels. Just drove it for the first time on 3s and the thing just wont stay on the ground😂 Completly mental. That goolrc combo is top notch by the way. Didnt get hot at all. 90 kmh with a car that cost me round about 80 euros to build. Awesome! Servus und abonniert!✌😎

    I'm so glad that finally someone else has used brushless systems in a tamiya, I put a 4370kv motor 60AMP esc in my lunchbox with the bigger pinion and it goes at least 35mph, I would suggest buying a lunchbox and using that esc in it.👍

    • @TheDIYGuy999

      I guess the Lunchbox is a bit too top heavy for me. Also have a look at the 3S running video: th-cam.com/video/mrQsJ8tqFwk/w-d-xo.html

    great video! Thank you very much for the contribution, I have never had a tamiya, I currently have a kyosho axxe 2wd (when I bought it it was already rtr) I have never assembled a chassis from 0 what are the advantages and disadvantages from 0? I am thinking about the DT 03 neofighter, what are the pros and cons of this buggy? Can you fit another servo and variator from other brands? What speeds can we achieve with brushed and a 2s lipo? How about the quality of the spreads and arrows? do you highly recommend brushless on this car? drive shafts wear out fast?

    Servus, wie lange halten die Reifen nun? ;)
    Bei meinem Bürstenmotor halten die originalen Spiked-Tires ja schon kaum. Sehr schnell verschliessen.
    Hat die Plastikantriebsritzel den Brushless-Motor standgehalten, oder musste die mittlerweile ersetzt werden?
    Plane evtl. auch den Umbau auf Brushless, aber ob's hält? Bin mir da nicht sicher, ob die Plastikteile es lange mitmachen.

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tamiya does not recommend lipos, because they think they are too dangerous. But of course they fit inside, if you choose the correct size. And of course the gears are able to handle the torque, because they are very wide. No issues so far, just pure fun and bald tires

    • @valentinosgsxr
      @valentinosgsxr 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In my experience, the gearbox can not handle anything stronger than the silver can. Transmission case, is made out of hard plastic and eventually will crack and break, especially where the motor mounts, even without major crashes. Chassis is also very brittle and will most likely crack and brake around the front shock tower after a few high speed crashes. Parts are also very expensive.
