the best part of the "remake" is that it would've eventually gone more and more off-script as you play the game you can actually kinda hear this within the track itself, with how it starts deviating from the original composition too
Sometimes it's easier to simply hate something for not measuring up to your nostalgic expectations than to look at something objectively to discover what good it has on its own merits.

If that's the case, Then they had to go through the inbetween planning stage, which was to have Grunty have an intelegent AI and try and stop Banjo from performing tasks through the world.
i think they should have let you play in old banjo levels if you completed the game 100% instead of you just getting a suit and a pre built car you don't even have to 100% the game to get

They they had the idea of making the game car themed. Now, I'm not sure what stage of planning they were on when that trailer was made, but it probably wasn't the stage with cars.
