  • I've had the pleasure of reacting to several episodes of Grey's Anatomy on this channel, so I thought I'd make the binge a bit easier and put the reactions into one long compilation! Along with reacting to the original pilot episode, I also reacted to Season 2 Episode 5 "Bring The Pain", Season 2 Episode 6 "Into You Like A Train", Season 3 Episode 25 "Didn't We Almost Have It All". Let me know down below which episodes you want me to react to next!
    Season 1 Episode 1 - Pilot - 00:00
    Season 2 Episode 6 - Into You Like A Train - 15:54
    Season 2 Episode 5 - Bring The Pain - 29:12
    Season 3 Episode 25 - Didn't We Almost Have It All - 42:41
I LOVE reading your comments and take your suggestions seriously. If there’s a subject you want me to discuss or something you’d like for me to react to, leave a comment down below. Many of my videos have been born out of suggestions directly from you, so don’t hold back!

I started watching Grey's Anatomy when I was like 12 years old and I wanted to become a doctor because of it.. I didn't become that kind of doctor, but I graduated from vet school a few days ago.

My dad had a widow maker heart attack at 2am 2/15/2020. I got him about 8 miles to the hospital on 9 minutes. He went from home to the cath lab to a room in 47 minutes. I’ll forever be thankful for the nurses and doctors who saved my dad’s life. His LAD was 100% blocked and I believe the LCA was 90% blocked. The doctor said there’s no medical explanation as to why he was still with us and said his survival was 2%. Because of their quick action and how they saved my dad’s life, my brother is now in school to be a cardiovascular surgeon.

An incident similar to that actually happened in a hospital ER, but with two teenagers if I remember correctly. But in that case, both of their lives were saved. At least on the show. The show was called “Umtold Stories of the ER” hands dramatized actual stories that really did happen in the ER.

There are so many ways to prevent that.
They could fashion a brace to hold the patients upright and fairly easily design some supports to hold the pipe horizontal while they cut it. They also could have gotten more staff there to help the girl instead of just leaving her to die.
The reason they couldn’t do those things by stand the girl had to die is because that makes for more emotional TV

He never gave up stuff for meredith, meredith gave up stuff for him, and when she asks him to (I believe she asks him to go to zolas tea party because she couldn't make it?) he says he can't, surgery always comes before her, I still don't get what's so special about their relationship.

Few days after he moved he met Dr Grey (Meredith) and they eventually started dating. He never divorced Addison though and then she moved down and he was gonna sign the divorce papers but decided not to and Meredith found out and is mad about it. hope that explained it well enough.

I used to clean the on call rooms, also operation rooms and hospital rooms for patients( basically I cleaned every inch of the hospital that I worked for) and I used to change the sheets for the doctors in the on-call rooms every single day as well as wipe them all down , floors, highs-lows dusting and trade the trash and scrubs from their rooms/lounges. I also would clean the on call rooms kitchen areas and sitting areas and I met some really nice and enjoyable to talk to doctors while I worked there. I loved that job and I made a lot of personal connections with doctors just because I had to be on the same schedule as they were to make sure I was getting everything clean behind them and before them. Surgeries, appointments, sleep times for them. Everything always on the go.

I cannot express how emotional it makes me hearing him talk about how real doctors can say "I don't know" because I've lost so much faith in the doctors where I live because no matter how much they have no idea what's happening they refuse to admit it and it's caused me so many issues
I think the only time I heard that they didn't know was when they'd given up, so much respect to people who are willing to admit they don't know something cause it's just so much better than alternatives
(the issue where they gave up was something wrong with my wrist, nothing life threatening but it was frustrating and they did send me home with a brace though they didn't seem to think it would help? though it was the same office that gave me an inhaler -for asthma- after they did multiple tests and confirmed I didn't have asthma)

    • @brynnsievert6371

to be fair, sometimes inhalers can still help folks with asthma. for a few months I had a horrible cough so I went in to the doctor, she knew it couldn't be covid and I wasn't having any symptoms of asthma so she admitted she didn't know what was up but that she'd give me an inhaler to see if that would lessen the symptoms, when it didn't she sent me to an allergist to figure out the issue and now I'm doing great!

I even have an EMT friend who named their child Addison after the show. However, they all watch it to laugh. My mom worked for the forensics department of the police here in our, German, city and she hates every show that is about this kind of work. She especially hated CSI, all of them. Even just a quick police investigation scene in any movie or show and she would angrily point out all the issues she was seeing.

      They didn't see much.
There were no wounded people laying around everywhere.
      The planes hit.
Some people jumped out of the buildings and their bodies exploded when it hit the ground but most people stayed inside.
Those that managed to get out ran. Those that didn't were crushed when the towers collapsed on top of them.
The only thing the responders really could do was wait.
      And clean up the mess.
I was working that morning on 53rd between Park and Lexington. On 53rd and Lexington the Red Cross set up a blood donation station in the Citibank building around 10am. I stood in line with about 100 other people to donate. Around 1pm the Red Cross stopped the blood drive because there were no survivors to give the blood to. The Red Cross sent the staff downtown to treat people for dust and smoke inhalation.
If you were anywhere near those towers when they came down you died either then and there or years later from cancer.
