This has been on my wishlist for my Bronco Sport for quite a while. That and the rooftop tent. My goal, once I save enough is to have the system so I can camp at some of the state parks here in Kansas that also happen to have MTB trails like Wilson Lake. Or to head out of state take the bike and not have to worry about hotels.

Do you have the factory Toyota hitch on your rav? Did you need any adapters or just the swing out base to install?

Still happy! We don’t use the swing out function that often when it’s just our bikes but if we’re using the cargo box or the box with bikes it’s extremely handy.

Any chance you might know if a guitar case can fit in the box? I assume the box is water tight? This is exactly what I need as a cyclist with guitars and dogs.

It should! If there are any outdoor stores in your area you can always try putting your guitar in the floor model! 😄

Youre still basically buying 2 or more carriers. You’re looking at a total cost of over $1000 for your setup.

There’s an add-on kit for the box with lights and a license plate mount. It’s an extra $200…but it does exist!

We've had bike racks and cargo boxes on the car for years now without any problems. We've always lived in states that require a front plate, too, which could have something to do with it.
