Ant would have liked the AM guys, who were massively popular... "Dean and Jim" had what they called "The Whip" which was a sound effect/gimmick that no one would touch with a million mile pole in the current era. They had a little ditty when coming in and out of breaks... "Dean and Jim and the morning show, gets you up with The Whip you know--hoh... (fuh-peesh) WIOG!" and then they would play Livin' on a Prayer.
@@klompsauce The best pure "diner" type place was the original Angelo's Coney Island on Davison and Franklin, and this is coming from a non-coney eater. Their burgers were outstanding and the fries with gravy was delicious. Shakes were really good, too.
