    Highlights of the Men's Kayak Single 1000m Semi-Finals from Eton Dorney during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
    In 1924 in Paris, flatwater canoeing featured at the Games as a demonstration sport. Canoe and kayak racing became full medal sports at the 1936 Berlin Games. However events were initially limited to canoe sprint until canoe slalom made its debut at the 1972 Munich Games. Slalom racing was not competed again in the Olympic Games until the 1992 Barcelona Games.

    Very impressive but it still blows me away the size difference between upper and lower body

    Who was the Canadian? Looked like he was a full boat length ahead of the pack for most of the race.

    Where can you buy one of these kayaks?

    • @flamingfalkor

      Dave Edlund There's a fair number of suppliers who make K1s. Off the top of my head I can think of Epic, Think, and Stellar.

      why don't jou go check out Haze kayaks , its a new kayak manufacturer that build some of the best , I bought one and I haven't had a doubt about it since

    • @mythic_fci762

      Nelo and Plastex are the biggest manufacturers, although Epic and Zedtech also make good boats for lower-level athletes.

    • @joecullen4994
      @joecullen4994 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @jfoz7602
      @jfoz7602 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      THE ALL MIGHTY SPOGHATRS DAACK that’s how they are so quick. Big legs would be just extra weight to move

    • @storebjrn6427
      @storebjrn6427 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      THE ALL MIGHTY SPOGHATRS DAACK do not mean they skipped leg day, they have strong legs just not that huge, you can compare them to cyclist where the majority have really small legs
