That's right dad! You put some bass in your voice and Mikko listened! 👍❤️😊
I love how patient you both are. I also love that you still incorporate correcting her. My cousin's son is autistic. She is amazing with him. But she always says, "That doesn't mean he can act like a jerk"! 😂 ❤
Exactly 💯. As someone that works with children of all abilites, they still need boundaries and correction with patience and kindness.😊
lol your cousin is my spirit animal 😂 I had to tell my hubby just because our daughter is autistic doesn’t mean she can’t be a spoiled brat sometimes….Lol it’s perfectly fine to correct their poor behavior
@@tholi1016 So true! 🩵
@@donnittam8500 So true! Thank you for your work.!!
Great Job baby!
I like that all the children were in the video ❤
❤❤❤
Yes, they're beautiful little children.
As a pediatric OT, I love all this!!! No amount of therapy can equate to what you do at home. The kiddos i see whobmake the most progress have parents who carryover in the home. But this real life and I love that you both can be sensitive where needed but also firm when needed. That balance is important.
Dads' being present makes such a big difference in kids' lives. Very nice video!
I loved the sternnes in both your voices. She responded a couple of times. When attempting to help her brush her teeth she did not want help, but you finally looked away, and she calmed herself down to allow you to help her. Keep doing it she understands, she is use to having her way. Begin to treat her more like she does not have a disability for as often as possible, because she is a toddler and they will try you anyway. Let her know she is a big girl. Give her a few big girl things to do, and see how it turns out. Mikko is going to turn some corners. It is coming!
Mikkos talking more! Good job mom and dad!
I know right
I hope this is a compliment. Shes better behaved in public than many neuro typical children I encounter. Youre all doing fantastic
You also have to remember no two autistic people are alike !! You can’t compare her because they are all different and actually are done that behave even better than her
Not all neuro typical the same hun
Everyone is different and very much so unique
She isn't neuro typical she is neuro divergent, isn't she? I may be wrong. 🤷🏼♀️
Neurotypical individuals may more easily interpret non-verbal cues, such as body language and facial expressions. Neurodivergent Communication: May include preferences for written over verbal communication, discomfort with direct eye contact, and taking statements more literally.Mar 28, 2024 I thought neurotypical was wrong. Glad I looked it up. Just to help out. ❤
I notice is this video Mikko responds differently to her dad. When her dad speaks EF HUTTON listens aka Mikko. I notice there is no meltdown of any kind when her father’s speaks, period. I see she will test and push mom to the limit with crying and throwing temper tantrums. I definitely feel Mikko knows exactly what she’s doing and who to pull it with.
The low bass voice commands attention and is always more intimidating. Men have that advantage. As a teacher, I see it in school all the time.
You’re right she knows how to sucker her mom!!!! I can speak on this because I have a 24 yr old daughter that’s Aut and they are very aware!!!!
Most definitely....
Well, both of them can't be stern, one has to be the softer one, it makes things a lot better 😊
For you to maintain a YT channel, raising three children with your husband and finding ways to interact with your autistic daughter is such a monumental task. I hold all of you in prayer and hope you are able to find solutions where Mikko can live a life without the stresses she deals with. Or at least for her to be able to find ways where she can handle things a bit easier. My heart goes out to you and I hope that you as her Mom finds those moments of peace where you don't get stressed out. Thank you for what you share as I am sure this helps other parents. Love you all♥♥♥
Dad’s stern voice seems to work with Miko.
I observed that .
Happy to see you guys are working together which is truly a blessing. Mikko is doing great with her motor skills. Keep up the great job, both of you are wonderful parents. Have a great week end. Always a pleasure watching your videos!!!
There are toddler toothbrushes where you bite down on a dual silicone surface (bow or side shaped), so they can “brush” all surfaces in one go by themselves. 😄👍 I recommend them, as long as their “own” brush time doesn’t contain fluoride.
Chris being so nice to the drive thru employees warmed my heart !!!
I am so happy to see all working as a team . Does Mikko, attend school. My granddaughter, started a year 13 months ago. It made a big difference in her growth. DC has the best programs for kids on spectrum. U all are an inspiration/ continue doing outstanding job.
❤
Esa misma pregunta me hice yo, que si Mikko iba al colegio?
awesome parents with awesome children! please tell Mikko and your other children that I really enjoy watching your channel. One of the best channels on TH-cam. Thank you for the video!
My 10 year old granddaughter is none verbal autistic I also calapse on my bed after just having her for 2 days and one night but she's so worth all the love and energy I have ❤
Thank you for sharing wonderful family ❤
Mom, have you ever addressed why Mikko is not in school or therapy? And if you are in the process or plan to have her assessed so she can begin school?
She’s 3..
@@tatyanaportela that's my point! 3 is the age to get your child in school to get these special services free of charge, that Mikko obviously needs.
@@aliciamoore963 minimum age for school is 5 ma’am..
@@tatyanaportela ma'am I've worked with special needs students for 20 yrs. I think I would know what I'm talking about. 5 is the required age for kinder. Kids as young as 3 can start general ed preschool or special education preschool.
You need to walk with sanitiser for her as she is touching things and putting her finger in her mouth
I love when her dad puts base in his voice and shows he’s the man the leader.
I love all that you guys do to help miko. Girl you need to think about opening a school for the autistic kids because you are have been blessed with patience ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Keep up the good work! You are helping other parents who might be struggling with special needs children. I think you are so brave! God bless you!
You editing the music to that “mischievous song “ is what made me laugh 😂 HER FATHER, has this in the BAG she takes correction to him FAST. Mom you’re just as great!
I’m super proud of Precious and hubby! Y’all look absolutely beautiful working together. Marriage is a work in progress so always give yourself grace as God gives everyone. I’m all smiles watching as God is using you as examples for others to learn from. Mekko hair is extra long and beautiful. It will soon be down her back. I love you and your family. Stay strong and always keep your heads up 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤️
My daughter was diagnosed with Autism this pass Tuesday. Your videos have been relatable and helpful 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You guys are tired but you have a special bond; hold on tightly to it!!!
The love your family has is so inspiring.
I almost cried when her dad stayed and slept by her bedside.😢🙏😊
Mikko is such a Daddy’ Girl 😅❤
Maybe you could show you and your husband spending time with the other children.
I love how yall work together.
It makes things better when you're Married to the Right person. That's how people can continue to work things out.
God bless yall Marriage.
I don't know if you're told this often you're an amazing woman mother and nurturer
You are both the best . I am a professional/licensed therapist. Do not forget each other through this journey . God bless you and your family .
Great things are coming ))))❤

Mikko is doing such a great job with her motor skills and follow directions plus instructions too and for y’all to have a whole lot of patience too which make a big difference too so kudos to y’all for showing us y’all beautiful family on y’all channel of the TH-cam bcuz I know I truly do appreciate watching your family and thanks for the new video too bcuz I be waiting on it too and god bless
Beautiful job Dad and Mommy and Mikko❤❤
I am really enjoying your videos. I only wish I could have seen these videos when I had my special needs premiere baby. She had a lot of gross, fine motor delays, speech delay and sensory issue. I had a lot of services provided to my daughter thru that state of New York, but just like you as a parent I put in the work with my child and support all the way. There is no way she will as far as she is if I didn't. Some said harsh things that she will never make out of public school. But I didn't listen them I just kept working with my child. I am here to said she in her third year of college with a 3.0 GPA with a major in English. She wants to be a writer of books. I am so glad I never gave up on what God can do. Each one of us was born with a purpose to glorify God.
This site has truly helped me in understanding what is going on with my granddaughter for the past 5 years. I truly thought she was just very strong willed or had too many thoughts going on in her brain at one time. This makes me understand her even more. Blessings to ya'll for this and allowing others to see your life.
I’m so proud of you both and I know the Lord with continue to guide you both
Yes,mom let her be upset your doing a great job Continue to correct her.
You are such brilliant parents with not only Mikk being a blessing also your other two children too. You are all so very special and I hope you realise this all the hard work you put in as parents is clearly on show with how wonderful your children are. Wishing you all the very best and may you continue to live in abundance.
Poor Mom, seems like she could use a nice vacation, but I'm not gonna lie, i had a good little chuckle when Miko slapped her in the face with her ponytails and the sound effect that came right after @2:35🤯🤓
"A What" That was so funny your facial expression were priceless
So glad to see other children and interactions!
I'm glad you have help with her. You look so tired. And alittle stress. I think you should enroll her into a school so you can have a peace of mind. And alittle me time. Because you dont want to be burned out. I have a niece who is autistic she goes to school from 8 to 3.
the thumbnail made me laugh in a good way i had a bad week which made me think about my existence but your channel makes me happy
Dad takes care of the other kids they good kids understanding their sisters needs.
I love the texture of your older girls hair!❤
You two are excellent parents. Blessings to you both 🙏🏾
I love that you guys are doing such a good job with her❤
This was so beautiful to watch.. I didn’t want it to end ❤
Yall are such a loving family.
You guys are all so good together! Amazing job. : )
I’m so excited for Mikko !! Cheers to both of you, job well done!! 💖🤗
You two have a wonderful parenting style of teamwork, patience, and consistency. More importantly, it is filled with love and expectations. She can only thrive in the intentional atmosphere you've set together! The older children are beautiful too!
You guys are amazing. I can see how much of a struggle mentally it is for you guys but you’re doing amazing. ❤
You are determined and consistent parents. Structure is key. Keep up what you’re doing 👍🏻
I didn't know that you have another kids . But only Miko
Mikko does a ton better with 7:00 wakeup calls than I do with 11:00. I've worked 2nd and 3rd shift jobs basically my entire career.
❤❤i almost cried a little cuz i rly see the toll this is taking on you guys but you won't give up on your angel and that makes me so happy. You definitely "make it work" and i pray things will get better❤❤❤❤❤❤
What great parents you both are. Mikko is blessed to have the two of two. Mikko is making remarkable progress. Love to your family.
You guys are great parents ❤
Wow. Great job family. You are teaching us so much about love and patience 💖💖💖💖

You guys are doing an amazing job! 🫡🙏🏾❤️
I can’t believe how tall Mikko is! Your family is doing so well 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Omg that video was so cute especially the ending.. you guys are the best. Love the videos❤
I love your patience. Morning spats aren't very fun.
7:45 I probably could have used this. I had fine and gross motor difficulties that were pointed out in preschool, but my mom's attitude was "I had motor issues as a toddler and I'm fine", so I didn't end up in OT until my handwriting in elementary school turned out unacceptably bad.
You guys are doing a great job. Well done to you.
Hello 👋🏽. Have a blessed weekend everyone.✌🏽🫶🏾
You two are blessed. 🙏🏽
