While going to college at the University of California at Santa Barbara, I lived just down the beach from the Santa Barbara Cemetery, next to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Being fascinated by cemeteries, I often visited SBC and was happy to see you covered it today. This was in the late 70's and there were not nearly as many famous celebrities buried there then. Thanks, as always Arthur, for another wonderful video! Cheers from Sacramento!

The full quote of the epitaph on the grave of Ronald Colman reads thus:
"Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
    Is rounded with a sleep."
    William Shakespeare
From The Tempest, Act 4 Scene 1

I've read the comments here and come to the conclusion that I am a full generation older than anybody else here! While everyone else grew up with Alan Thicke, I grew up with Fess Parker. In fact, Daniel Boone came on at the start of the raging early teens and I fell madly in love with FP. About a hundred years later I retired from my job and decided to spend at least a full year doing fun, silly things that I never had time for before. This included writing fan letters to all my old crushes. The great thing was that most of them were still alive and were no longer receiving many fan letters - so I got lovely responses from every one. Fess Parker wrote me the nicest note and included a signed 8x10 photo. I still had a Daniel Boone crush!

One of my favorite actors is John Ireland
He was Hollywood good looking and very capable of holding his own on the screen along side of any of the more recognize able stars types !

I really look forward to these. Very sad to learn of Heather Angel and her husband having to go through that terrible ordeal. I know lots of Hollywood folklore but did not know that. Great job as always.

Alan Thicke was only in a handful of episodes of This Is Us before he died. It would have been interesting to see how they developed his character. It was a shock when I heard the news that he died. Watched Bradford Dilliman on tv throughout the 1960s. Lots of great details on he and Suzy Parker. I knew about Tad & Tony being an “item.” Your tours are addictive and I will therefore keep watching news entries. Thanks Arthur!
