Thank you for the nice feedback, I really appreciate it. This is my beloved Felipe Conde. I really like how Juan Martín gives us traditional material in a digestible manner. The more I listen to older flamenco the more I find his falsetas leaning onto real life flamenco pieces.
What really helped me a lot was actually learning Palmas patterns. I created my own Palmas and cajon tracks, which was a great exercise. Check out flamenco explained and flamenco maps, among others, they have great tutorials.

I'm doomed: when listening to the Flamenco Compas app, I can't tell where to come in... too many off-beats.
