You’ll start to notice all the controller tunes are garbage on the wheel 😂 played this game for 2 years on wheel and it’s crazy how much you need to tune a car to feel good on the wheel compared to controller
This is what controller only players don't get. We have to pay attention to physics and have a lot more outputs to deal with. I can't swipe my thumb and go lock to lock in .1 seconds

Exactly
When you use a wheel.
You feel the weight, grip, downforce, everything.
Nothing more to say! 😁
The genuine excitement of you trying out the wheel is awesome, its like driving cars in game again for the first time. The precision and smoothness is the one thing I really like about using a wheel, especially as I've gotten older. Plus the just pure fun and immersion factor. There are also a few settings under advanced controls that are only available when a wheel is present that can help tweak the feedback. I think the one that is most noticeable is the Mechanical Trail.
The thing that i love the most from using a steering wheel is i can feel all the weight transfer from the wheels force feedback. It just feels amazing to either work with the car or battling the beast out of it😂
That last ride on the Legacy RS... DAMN!
I am loving these wheel vids mang!!
1 min into the video im regretting selling my steering wheel and pedals lmao 😂
would be cool to need to some eliminator on the wheel. itll be a new challenge! just pray you wouldnt get a jungle circle lmao
Lmao what if... the eliminator on wheel
Lock to lock is so much quicker on controller\keyboard, but fine inputs are far more precise with wheel and pedals. When I'm not using my wheel, I'm using keyboard and some of the cars do nothing but spin their wheels in the low gears because the gas is either off or 100%, but with pedals you can ease into the throttle so much better. My favorite way to drive is with the dash view, so it's just the instruments and not the drivatar hands and wheel. Feels more immersive with my setup, but that's all personal preference and there is no wrong way to drive with a wheel.
Keep your wheel at its max rotation capability. Car steering radius is different per car stock. Any Suspension upgrades take it to 1200 unless the cars stock radius is beyond that. Then it's retained. Better to get used to this transition with the wheel being static lock to lock. I think the concept to get right with the wheel is not to set the strengths too high or you get clipping. Also, higher fps = better handling because you're getting road feedback more often.
For racing its ok but this isn't neccessarily the case if you look into drifting. Depending on the wheel you use, the FFB may be to weak to rotate it by itself from lock to lock in the needed time. Thats why it makes sense to "tighten" the radius it needs to travel. Otherwise you will go out of control.
You have a lot to learn. Learning is good. Don't stop.
Turn off your assists, and turn the brakes to 60 % power after upgrading. You don't want lock up every time you touch the brake.
man this is so random seeing this and being such a new video
one little tip i seriously have to give you dubs
on steering wheel you have to be always extra soft with the brakes and really learn a sweet spot (usually its less than half way breaking on forza kinda learned that on FM7, FH3 and FH4) but once you get that down and when to accelerate during turn ins youd prob be really good off learning more and more for normal racing on forza ^^
edit: bc i forgot to also mention, its a reeeeally strict muscle memory training for forza compared to simulators and else but all in all, be patient and take your time with it all
Awesome video! Keep it up with the wheel content. Could you run a wide-screen and use both monitors for the game? A good FOV will help a ton. I've been playing exclusively on a wheel since FH4 and love it! More wheel content, please!
Awesome video!
sounds crazy but ~330 degrees on the wheel is awesome, just gotta tune down ingame sensitivity setting and set linearity to something less sensitive at the center.
LOOK WHO FOUND THE GO PRO CHEST STRAP!!!
Getting your set up right for a wheel and pedal is going to be a nightmare for you 😂😂😂 it was for me
You can buy crazy cockpit setups, but maybe for cheap you could find an old classroom seat with the little desk attached, and mount it on that.
Then you could point it any way you want, and just move it aside when not using it
I don't know if there'd be enough clearance, though. You might have to employ an extreme "elbows out" driving position!
no space for that
@@DUBSmb Oh well, just a thought .
On Xbox the main difference between wheel and controller is you have more buttons to map on controller. I do like you do use both.
Great video bro.! Although I do got beef with ppl saying that controller is faster than the wheel 😂 for pc players I can see the argument but for us console players, big difference between the two. Went to a wheel for 3 months and improved my GT7 times and consistency with the wheel over having multiple years with controller WITH AN INPUT LAG. Love whooping ass with controller but cant be as good as you can be with the wheel 🤷🏾♂️
Try this setup for Forza Horizon 5 and Moza R3
I use auto so I can concentrate on left foot braking. Cockpit view helps.
Good road feel
Amazing off road feel.
Cornering forces are strong.
It's all bloody amazing.
Forza Horizon 5 advanced settings.
vibration scale .3 If this is set too high driving through water and landing big jumps will cause painful vibration through the wheel. Vibration scale and 100 Hz setting work together.

Def get yourself a cheap shifter, logitech has some good ones and thrustmaster might be able to send out a shifter if you ask them, their th8s and th8a are pretty amazing, i have a th8a and it feels really good.
Also, with how the xbox series controllers have vibration feedback in the triggers for when you brake, the closer you get to locking up if you have ABS off, the more they vibrate. It would be cool if xbox officially partnered with some of the bigger wheel companies like thrustmaster, fanatec, logitech, etc. and made a set of pedals that would get stiffer or vibrate as you reach the brake locking point just like the controllers do. IDK if this works on all series controllers as I used the special FH5 Xbox controller, but I assume all series controllers have vibrating triggers that work with braking.
Have you tried the closer dashboard view where you don't see the driver steering?
what is that monitor placement 💀
I'm not moving my monitor every single time I have to use the wheel, so the monitor placement is perfectly fine for every day use
for the love of god, put your monitor in the middle. and try a manual shifter
no
Is no one else triggered by his wheel not being centered to his gaming monitor?!

Come on!!!, you are driving B and A class, AND it was A class AWD. S1 and S2 RWD is where the game is.
Tf is wrong with you?
The game is wherever you want it to be. Who cares what drivetrain and class he's using? Let people play how they want.
