@BarrysDaughter well that certainly is a rather small bathroom! I lived in London for a year, part of that time in a house, and I did notice that it had only one small bathroom (for three bedrooms) and not one room had closets. Only freestanding wardrobes. I guess Americans are all about convenience, so they won't tolerate having to share bathrooms, and forget about rooms without closets -- that's just unacceptable :-) Whatever, it's the land of excess, but I might as well enjoy it, right?
Beautiful home! Two things. You should re-paint the bathrooms a very light color. It will make them seem a lot bigger. In the first room, you should put the couch opposite where it is and a few chairs and coffee table in front as a conversation space. It will break up the room as well. My FAVORITE is the spot in the Master with the tv. I love those lounge chairs. Looks great
Nick and Chris, you've decorated beautifully! Your loft setup looks almost identical to our living room! Put a small chair facing the sectional sofa, makes for easier conversation. Teeny was cute. Do the lounges self level? Congratulations!
What a lovely home. Isn't it nice to be able to spread out and have living space? Lots of privacy and breathing room. I wish I could get the "ummpth" to paint mine. I am so proud for you both. This house should be the type that "appreciates" nicely for you being so spacious.
Your first version of this disappeared as I entered my comment last time, so I will say again that I think your house is beautiful and I bet you and Chris are so happy to be getting settled in! Best wishes!!!
All I can say is OH MY GAWD!.. And I thought it was beautiful before! You guys are now living in my dream home.. Colors, Decorating, Furnishings.. Esp. the lounge chairs at 9:10, LOVE them! We had one like that growing up(which I loved & laid in all the time), so my mom let me have it when I was a teen, to put in my own room. Unfortunately, it was taken from me during a nasty divorce! I have always wanted to get another, but couldn't find one, at least at a reasonable price, until recently. Seems they are now back in style, affordable & much easier to find! Hoping I can get one very soon, to add to the living room, which I just finished remodeling! I don't think mine will be leather, or no where near as nice as yours, but I'll settle for anything right now with that "Oh So Comfortable Shape"lol :)
