Hi all. I wanted to do a big craft to celebrate my first 1K subs, so thanks to all of you who have subbed, liked, and commented on my videos. I really appreciate it. This is also a late Easter craft, but we can enjoy pastels year round, can't we?

I am absolutely obsessed with all of your builds . I’ve been trying to make my own cottage in 16 scale and every time I get stuck I watch one of your videos and it helps me keep going.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Really enjoyed watching you make this. It's amazing what can be done with such simple material like cardboard, glue and lolly sticks etc. You did such a great job and must have a lot of patience! The Sylvanians look pleased as punch to be in a fancy new home. (And congrats on the 1k!)
Thank you 🙂 I started posting craft videos because I wanted to show what could be done with simple and cheap supplies, that a cardboard dollhouse that's meant to be played with doesn't have to look like it's made of cardboard if a few extra details are added here and there.

Thanks, I had planned to do the inside of the house but got caught up in work stuff and then some other projects. I would like to finish the interior eventually.
Thank you. It should be fun designing the interior, and this time I had the forethought to leave at least one wall without windows or doors for large furniture to sit up against.

@@jpaul19791 That's awesome! Let me know how it turns out. I should have mentioned this in the video but you can also add a bit of detail with the paint, like making the top and bottom sections different colors, painting a marble design, or outlining the rectangular panels in white or gold.

If you do, have you considered selling the patterns and instructions for your dollhouse builds? I've always wanted to get into it, but I would have no idea where to start. Thank you, I'm glad you like the house. I make templates for myself as I'm building but I don't have any digital patterns made up. I need to get better about that because people have asked me about it on other crafts too.
Thank you. I'm not sure how long it took exactly. I started recording March 12th and finished Easter Sunday, but I mostly worked on it Saturdays and sometimes in the evenings after I got off work, maybe a few days worth of work in total if I add it up, and the interior still needs to be done.

Thank you 😊 Cardboard is a handy craft material. Once you start adding layers and curves it can take on a whole new appearance.

Thanks. It would take a while to reproduce templates digitally, but the overall size is about 18" tall, 8" deep, and 12" wide.

I used card stock for the door hinges and cut the oval shape with a box cutter.

Any cardboard will do, just layer it for stability.
