The first time I went on this ride, I freaked out on that first drop. After going on it for the first time, it was fine for me to do it again. You literally feel like you will eject out of your seat with that lap bar !
To be honest, I'm not too sure why. It's just something part of a roller coaster that makes it very fun to ride. Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa has a very similar feeling but instead of having a lot of floater air time like on Mako, it consists of a lot of ejecter air time. Both of which I think are very fun and exciting.
i went onto montu at busch gardens tampa and it was a really smooth ride. yeah... not so much anymore... mako was so smooth i it made montu seem rought for me. nothing beats how smooth it is.

Still a bit weird how you're endorsing Sea World after how they treat their animals. Sea World have tried to keep Mako sharks (what the ride is designed on) before and they've only managed to keep them alive for 3 days due to the tiny enclosures and poor care. Disappointing.
I worked for Sea World for 3 years and can personally tell you how great they are with their animals. I mostly worked with the rehabilitation side of the rescue program, so I saw a lot of on site rescue missions first hand and in the park rehabilitation. The trainers and cast members really enjoy working with the animals. 90 percent of the animals that are in captivity are former rescues of the Sea World Rescue Team which were documented as unfit for release into the wild due to the possibility of risking their life and/or health. All the sea turtles in the sea turtle exhibit are also rescues, along with the dolphins and manatees. All the orca's were born in captivity and would not survive in the wild after being raised with human interaction and dietary dependency from their trainers that work around the clock with them. After hours and before hours there are trainers in the park working with the animals to ensure they are healthy and taken care of.
George Radcliffe I've seen the dolphin, wale and sea lion and otters show and u can tell they love the animals and have a bond with them. They care for them and it's noticeable

Looks a very similar ride experience to both the Behemoth and Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland. Leviathan is bigger than Behemoth tho.
but behemoth is much better than Leviathan in terms of layout and thrills.
