The water is beautiful, and nothing bites or stinks you in the water. But on land if it slithers, crawls, or flies, it will sting or bite you and it lives in Florida.
Is there a local boat ramp nearby ? I wanna take my boat up there on Easter Sunday . Also is there any signs on the water that can direct people to rainbow river?
Good video I live here and the beach is nothing to brag about, they should have purchased land on the Rainbow river because it is safer, not so many alligators on the Rainbow because more people kayak the Rainbow River and gators are afraid of humans but since one person got attacked near the beach it has a bad name now I swim at the bridge at Blue Run.
There are technically two outlets to the gulf after the Withlacoochee turns into Lake Rousseau, but both are interrupted by pretty sizable spillways. If in a kayak or canoe, you could probably bank it up from the spillways and haul overland a few hundred yards past the outflow side, but it’d be impossible for a boat, unless you had a trailer waiting for you at the boat ramps by the southern spillway.
Well done video, very beautiful, but even though they still call it "Dunnellon Beach", there is no beach. There is no place for little children and toddlers to play in the sand, walk the waters edge with their siblings or parents. I'm really sad to see the beach covered with wooden walkways. I wonder if those shaded areas under the walkways give the common water snakes places to congregate during the heat of summer.
There is a place called Indian creek just about 2 corners up river from KP hole. The most BEAUTIFUL place on the entire river. It’s a shallow creek that goes back for miles and has a nice beach area
Such a beautiful part of the state!
Thank you for the footage, great job.
So this is where it all happened! Wondered what I was missing. Thanks for sharing, beautiful video. Especially loved the pirate music, fits perfectly!
Thank you very much and I'm glad you enjoyed
Thank you sir. I wish I lived in Florida. One of these days. GOD willing.

Beautiful, love it.
Is that heaven???❤
Beautiful. I’m guessing there’s lots of creatures that bite and sting there.
There is nothing biting you or stinging in the clear water.
