Emprise is a dark fantasy concept album; taking the listener from the darkest depths of a seemingly endless hellscape to the glimmering yet melancholic atmosphere of the heavens. Act I of this album embellishing a true black/death metal sound while Act II depicts a more post black - melodic/atmospheric more depressive sound. Thank you everyone who’s listened to the album and thank you BMP for premiering our record! Hail Mammon!
What a unique album. Black Death Metal and Post Black Metal in the same record. I didn't see that coming considering I already have 1 album of these guys. Thanks for the unexpected music Mammon XV and BMP 🥇📀🤘🏻
amazing álbum 10/10 BMP (╬▔皿▔)╯ I didn't know this band until now that this album was released here on the channel, a quite interesting project from these three prolific young musicians. I was digging a little into their history and "Amongst the Dead and Dying" was the first single with which they became known, a quite atmospheric piece of music with shades of blackened Black Metal and this is where Post-Black Metal makes its move. . It can be seen in the guitar solo at minute 04:30, I think that this is where the band is titled as a Post-Black Project. This new release, I must say, left me quite surprised personally, half of the album begins in the vein of Blackened/Death Metal, painting dark and somber atmospheres, conjuring witchcraft spells left and right, channeled in a vehement and cursed vocal range. And the second half of this musical opus delves into the calm and permanent melancholy with more atmospheric Post-Black Metal chords with an intelligent use of the guitars where the riffs and plucks remain halfway between a tone of sadness and nostalgia. The vocal register suddenly changes towards a more suffocating and heartbreaking tone of voice surprisingly. What quality of these musicians to experiment with different musical styles and make everything sound so harmonious together. Emprise is an excellent album from start to finish, totally recommended!!! Hail Mammon XV "👹"₆₆₆ We must give the opportunity to all these emerging bands that do not let the Black Metal flag fall!!!
I really liked these vocals. WHY the second half is soo bad of the album... This was a huge put off for me... The first songs were sooo good. The last ones were flat out forgettable.

WHY the second half is soo bad of the album...
This was a huge put off for me...
The first songs were sooo good. The last ones were flat out forgettable.
Started good and then it got whiny and angsty...
