That North East side of Bimini might be my favorite place in Bimini. As you saw, at low tide, the sand flats come out of the water as far as you can see. At high tide, you can go up that river. We did that last week and saw about 30 turtles in there. Well done.
The wooden ribs you found could be the wreck of the Yankee Girl. She came ashore in that area in the late 50’s. If that is the same boat, she was a 60’+- gaff rigged schooner, rumored to have been a rum-runner in the 20’s. Beautiful boat.
Awesome video. I grew up in Beaufort Nc where the Parker factory is. The owner Linwood Parker liver across the street and was a very close to my family. They are the best boats made like this.
Beautiful couple, beautiful adventure, beautiful story, beautiful underwater shots, what camera are you using for the stills? I hope to travel in your footsteps one day... I lived on Marathon Key for a few years and I love everything about the ocean, I spent more time on a boat or snorkeling or, the sand bar than I did hanging out with out kids when going to Marathon High... Props for leaving with more than you came (glass/trash) I do this every beach I go to or body of water I enter if only everyone did the world would be a much better place! Subbed and look forward to more adventures
We use an Olympus TG5 for the stills, it is a little outdated - purchased in 2018. We are looking to upgrade to a digital slr housing one day! Some footage was taken with a GoPro but we usually don't do stills with that camera. Thanks for following along on the adventure, we love spending time in the Keys.
We bought the boat that way - there was a welder in Perry, FL that worked with the Parker dealer but we can't remember the name off the top of our head.
Great video! It gives us a heads up on what to expect. We are headed to Gun Cay to go diving and take videos for our channel at the end of the month with 6 other boats.
Thank you! We left from Harbour Towne Marina in Ft. Lauderdale and I think it was around $20/day to leave truck and trailer. Very nice place, with 24/7 security. Would go again!
Completely biodegradable and vegetable based, everything that goes into a Dr. Bronner's product will decompose naturally without disrupting the environment. We love the peppermint one!
good job on the pics. Excellent!
Thank you very much!
6:08 not sure but I think those were stones used for anchors and ballast for the Keel.
Yeah good call on giving that squall clearance captain! 👍👍

Ironically we are here now at Gun Cay for the night in real time. It’s still as beautiful as ever! Enjoy when you visit.
Where and how much did you paid for parking truck and trailer. Very inspiring trip, thanks for sharing.

Instant sub! The editing was amazing guys! I love your pilot house. Greetings from NC. 🐟🐟🐟
Thank you very much! We sold the Parker in August, luckily before Hurricane Ian. Our next video will in fact be about NC!
@@StefSea WOOOHOOO.... Can't wait! 💯
That is such an amazing underwater camera, can I ask what kind it is?
Thank you! I have linked our camera gear in the description! The underwater shots were filmed with the GoPro and Olympus.
🤠👍
Awesome video! Is that a special kind of shampoo? Do you have a link? 😍
