    Oof.. the low frames plus stutter needs to get fixed.

      No problem, by the way the stutter is only in the first section covering a large vehicle collection - and will be great to compare to in future with improvements to engine.

    Those c2 pictures made me think of that player shop demo they showed a while back on isc. Lock tables on the edges of the cargo grid and place valuables on them for other players to purchase

      That would be a slick use of the new system, especially with Pyro coming in with shops having some items for quick buy on tables.

    What do you think of a hangar layout that allows you to summon multiple vehicles at once, and wherever you wanted to summon them?
    Example: An extra large hangar is like 400x200 in length and width. It can fit roughly 32 extra small hangars on it's extra large hangar "grid." So, if a Freelancer Max takes up two xs hangar spots, you can load in 1 Freelancer max and 30 light fighters on the grid. You can also highlight where you want each of these ships to be placed. So instead of a xs ship spawning in the middle of the xl hangar, far out, it could be spawned right in front of your ASOP terminal, OR over by your cargo elevator for off/onloading. I know, people are worried the PTV will be obsolete. It won't. It'll still be very useful in navigating yout hangar, but this also allows you to strategically place ships on the grid size that fits them, but it still allows you to have better control of where you want things. It could work very well for lage org scenarios. Does this sound a bit over the top or useful?

      I think that any way to control the main hangar grid better and manage multiple ships/ground vehicles being able to be brought up down would be great. And honestly I just fly the ship over to the cargo elevator anyway in present config. Orgs will indeed need more tools, perhaps even preset groups of ships and vehicles in "loadouts" to spawn in by anyone with the right Org permissions at very least when Org hangars come in. And yes I don't think it would be a problem to let players do the same thing too to support them and their friends/Orgmates.

    They have all these dummy hanger doors. They need to start using them for all these personal hangers. My Fury was bouncing all over the place , when I brought it up into my hanger

      Fury has a sled like landing gear and balance can get weird on it. Agreed we need all these doors to function giving more seperate areas to store ships/vehicles

    If chairs on ships/cargo grids isn't "allowed to continue" then I'll probably be done with CIG. "No fun allowed, gib money". Passenger craft / dropships will have their own perks, this really shouldn't be an issue and if it is that's hardly the players' fault.

      Clarifiying the chairs and allowed or not more: these chairs will weigh something, and calculation would be needed to be counting a player sitting there in light armor or flight suit all in. So a massive number of chairs in ship not designed for such weight may be impacted in the "you are limited to this many chairs" way and I don't think CIG has any intention of removing the ability to have a LOT of combined count of chairs, tables, and even some flair. Reminder as I mentioned in video, weapons mounted to back will eventually need storage as will heavy armors... so dedicated dropships still have a place as their seats have all this in mind from start.

      @@RedJay Fair point, thank you for the comment I appreciate it. I'm not sure if CIG will go as granular as weighing suits and gear, but it /is/ CIG so they may very well do that. I can see players rocking around a lot more in these chairs than they would on a proper passenger craft.

    Everyone has those Retaliator modules in their hanger right now lol. I do as well, and all my Org mates have them as well

    i managed to park my freelancer max vertical against wall and even find a way to climb back in against gravity

      If CIG keeps the capabilities of the Cutty Steel for life support for approximately 20 personnel on the ship at same time in a such a small form factor it will be hard to argue for most ships thats the minimum "max people on ship without draining life support" number now, validaiting these custom chair builds for anyone not needing the absolute fastest exit mechanism for dedicated dropship work or need a "2-hand" weapon/utility rack for everyone on board kind of thing. I am phrasing it that way as I see this as not just a threat to the high priced when talking USD purchased Cutty Steel, but also other Dropships where sacrifices were made in other capabilities to fit that niche role you will rarely need unless you are part of a dedicated PMC.

    CIG will implement oxygen and other life support systems. They have stated this many times before. You will not be able to cram people in ships like you’re able to do now. Especially if you’re planning on doing missions in space.

      That's a great point, will certainly impact maximum passengers especially ones not in spacesuits packing O2 pens.

    the stutter is for real. This happens any time you get more than 10 assets in the same area. It would be way worse if there 10 people to go with all these assets. I doubt starcitizen will ever over come this demand. Can't have 10 people let alone 50 or more in one instance or server.

      Currently it is in the PTU (test server) you can find this in the loader for Wave 1 and Wave 2 backers. These are subscribers (including both levels of subscribers), the highest level Concierge backers, and most active players in the PU. It will slowly be opened for bigger and bigger Waves until it is open to everyone likely then Live servers as it gains stability. Don't forget in your "My Hangar" on the website you need to hit settings and on left side Player Test Universe and click copy account - you only need to do this once per patch cycle.

    SC engine is horrible at hidden surface determination/occlusion culling. All these open vehicles are going to push it well past its limits.

      In my discusson with Togy, he noted two fell through the floor from sides and were unrecoverable. Also when he logged off for night the collection returned to storage, and he brought them back out agian late Sunday. Same stuttering low framerate issue when he started getting them all out.

      If ground vehicle retrevial was cleaned up at all the big Planetary Landing Locations and Warehouse Elevators were able to spawn cargo and modules on a hover cart like we saw in some previews things would get much more useful for most players quickly.
