Can you please tell me how to insert record form a table to another table with one unique column .when records are when fetched from Source table and inserted to target table ,it should generate a sequence for one column like 1,2,3,4 .and when it job run next day it should increment the value from max value.

If you use lookup stage after join stage, it will be more simpler.

Good example to understand the stages. It could have been more optimized by moving the lookup towards end.
Instead of lookup we can use the product link to the join itself to avoid complexity... anyways very good example
