In case of tie among maximum difference We select row or column for allocation in which total cost is minimum. So do as given in video. Hope this will help you...

Sir, which step to be done first in case of (maximization and unbalanced matrix), either to introduce dummy first and then design the loss matrix or first calculate the loss matrix and then introduce the dummy unit. As, in PM both ways questions are solved, but two way answer for a particular problem doesn't provide the similar answers. So, please guide the best method for exam. The same case is for assignment also !!
Actually in most of the questions in PM, has difference opinion, where first the loss matrix has been prepared and then the dummy has been introduced, which result, a different answer due to separate allocations. What to do with such issues?
