Gillingham v Bolton 1986-87

Highlights from the last game of the regular 1986-87 season in Division 3. The Play Offs had been introduced for the first time that season and for the Gills to take the last spot they had to beat Bolton and hope that both Bristol City and Notts County would fail to win their games. Bolton also had to win to avoid being involved in the relegation Play Offs to Division 4. Commentary is from the late Dave "Ding Dong Do" Higson a Bolton fan whose unique style made him something of a legend in the 1990's after being featured on the Football Fantasy League show. As a Bolton fan this is great too, just to see the old faces and kit. The commentator Dave Higson was a star. We always got beaten off Gillingham when I was a kid and I still have nightmares of people singing "Gillio Gillio" or something haha.
