That one with the deer reminded me of an unrelated thing I saw years ago. A semi had hit a turkey full speed, square on. The turkey was literally exploded into tiny little bits and feathers all over the road. Not even a square inch of meat intact, it looked like it had been run through a wood chipper. The only way I knew it was a turkey because of the feathers. It was spread a good 10 feet across the road in a fine layer.

I live in rural Maine, I drive all over at night and the strangest thing I've encountered is a moose.
Sup fellow Mainer! I’m in Topsham. See deer every night almost and hear the coyotes. Neighbor once had a bear on the porch but that’s about it.

Good ol tracphones. I got stranded in the ditch, in the country no less with a tracphone. No service. Cell phones and the towers came a long way in the past twenty years. Thankfully I got a ride from a couple to my bro’s house who helped me. It was at night too 😅
If you must insist on taking road trips, even just once, for some reason have to be on the road for long periods of time, or insist on driving around in the middle of the night for no reason GET A DASH CAM. Front and rear. Everyone who owns and operates a motor vehicle NEEDS a dash cam. Period.

A shout out for veterans day in the USA and Remembrance day in the United kingdom, Lest we forget 🌹🌷🏵️🌻 there's no red poppy in the emoji section this is for all the veterans past present and future everywhere. I had to take my niece and then boyfriend now husband to a steam plant for work, and we took the back roads, to there and when I dropped them off and was heading back to home I accidentally took a wrong turn and was on the same highway as a prison that had a rough reputation and I knew that I took a wrong turn, so I turned around and went back to the road and was in my way back to my parents house and I usually followed the two railroad that you cross to go back all good yes before cell phones say late 1990's.

I cannot believe 4 once I have a scary story to share 😁 'it all began when started driving lessons, passed test!!! I mean I was so proud not surprised 🤥! Scary part coming up 😱 I cannot reverse park ever 😕 if I can't drive forward into park! I can't go shopping 👈 😢sad part the rest of it was just meh 😏 can't all b great at everything 😂
