I personally would receive Jesus on my tongue. Thank you for this valuable teachings. What you have explained the priests should also follow so that the body of Christ is not robbed and misused.

I would prefer each individual to recieve Holy Communion only on the tongue and only through consecrated hands. ie the Priest.
Amen. God Bless You
Yes I agree with u even d children just receive n just walk as if they got chocolate in their hand.
I prefer to receive the Holy Communion directly on my tongue but some of the priests keep placing it on our hand 😞
@@adeousamigos893 I feel very sad to hear that even the First Holy Communion children says, they had chips instead, saying Jesus. The Archbishop and the Priest should ban Communion in hand and the extra ordinary ministers. The reason the Church is in total confusion.
If you show your palm, definitely the Priest won't place the sacred host on the tongue.
Thank you fr

Yes Fr Derrick,i fully agree with you ive seen people receiving on the left hand over the kerchief n even people have come n taken it n was going out of the church, when Fr C. noticed n told the late sacristan to get that person back n took It back.ive been given to understand that there are 7 rules when n how to receive Holy Eucharist on hands. Have the priests informed the recipients about those rules ?? Sad to see people receiving n rubbing their hands on their clothes. Lord have mercy on them. N pray that our priests too try to make people learn more about the Holy Eucharist.God bless you always fr enlightening people.

Thank you father for the information on the Eucharist. I receive it on my tongue as i feel it is the right way of receiving our Lord Jesus the king of kings. To me taking the host in the hand is not proper as we touch so many things and it gets dirty though we do not see it

I totally prefer that everyone receive on the tongue. It was COVID-19 restrictions, and still following when Covid is no more. Mama Mary gave messages, not to receive her Son on the palm of the hand, because it hurts his Son! Praying that all receive the Body of Christ on the tongue . Amen 🙏✝️

Thank you Fr Derick. Well explained

We were taught in church during our catechism to receive the communion on the tongue. Too many changes in today's catholic masses.
God Bless You
The recieved the Holy Communion in the tongue . Amen.
God Bless You, Amen
Dear fa Derek, nice explantion on the relevance of the Holy Eucharist , yet the Church surely needs to be firm and decide on how actually the communion need to be received, the humble lay will surely respect and follow. Secondly, I believe a person after receiving the communion in hand moves at the side and bows facing the holiest of the Holy in the Church - the Tabernacle where we all believe in the true presence of Our living God. And as far as taking the host on the tongue has been a tradition but we can't deny the risk of contamination involved due to the contact of the priests fingers to the tongue of every receiver of the Holy Eucharist which is indeed harmful not only to the lay but also to the clery.
God Bless You
The Priest's hands are consecrated. This is point 1. Secondly the Priest is giving us Jesus on the tongue. So there cannot be any contamination. Remember what is important is our disposition when we approach Jesus. So please don't get confused.

I believe Communion should be received with respect on the tongue.
Hands not washed and receiving Jesus hurts me. There should be a place to wash hands before entering the church for those who want to receive Jesus by hand.
Appreciate if the Priest could remind the congregation in every mass. It would educate and remind people.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Rosemary. I completely understand your perspective and the deep reverence you have for receiving Jesus in the Eucharist. The idea of having a place to wash hands before entering the church is a thoughtful suggestion, and it could indeed help those who choose to receive communion by hand to do so with even greater respect.
As for reminding the congregation, it’s a good point that a gentle reminder from the priest could encourage everyone to approach communion with the utmost reverence. I’d suggest sharing your thoughts with your parish priest, as he might appreciate hearing from parishioners who care deeply about this matter. Your concern reflects a beautiful devotion to the Eucharist. God bless!
Fr thanks for explaining about receiving d communion. I prefer on d tongue. Even d small children receiving the communion on d hand they just take it n go. Some people receive on d tips of fingers so many times I hv seen my own eyes falling on floor it's very sad I when people receive on d hand or tip of the fingers. Pls atleast children receive on d tongue.
God Bless You
I stopped taking holy communion on hand after lifting up the lockdown
God Bless You
Communion only on the tongue. Period. Ave Maria!
Amen
Thank you Fr.!
But Holy Communion is the Real Presence.
The actual Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is not symbolic.
God Bless You
Receiving it on hand is very beneficial for the devil. Just reflect upon it and see you will get your answer. Or start reading books on Eucharist Miracles or watch videos on What demon has to say about Mary. We need to help the church to preserve its teachings. Sad to say even the some Eucharist ministers treat Holy Eucharist in unholy way.
Thank you Fr.
God Bless You
Even some priests fail to say " The body of Christ" They just hurry to give the communion.. want to ask this question in person.
God Bless You
I don't like to receive my Lord Jesus body on my left palm .
God Bless You
I prefer holy Communion to recieve on tongue only
God Bless You
Please receive the Lord worthily.. small children don't even know who they are receiving. Its as though they are receiving a wafer.. They just watch the elders do,, very sad. Why this whole thing about receiving on the hand? HE IS THE LORD..RECEIVE HIM ON THE TONGUE.
God Bless You
There is a real presence of our lord in holy communion..... It's not symbolic .....distributing communion in hands is a wrong practice ...it allows tiny particles of communion to fall down and trample beneath our feat which is a sacrilege....inorder to increase and safeguard the faith of the laity in holy communion ..
.holy communion must only be given on tongue and only by the consecrated hands of a Priest
God Bless You
90%priests are afraid after COVID and prefer to administer Holy Communion in hand instead of tongue what should we do receive on hand or not to receive.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Christopher. Like you, I always receive Communion on the tongue, as it’s an important part of my expression of reverence. However, I understand that many priests, especially after COVID, feel it’s safer to administer Communion in the hand.
If you find yourself in a situation where Communion on the tongue isn’t possible, it’s a personal decision whether to receive on the hand or not to receive at all. If you strongly prefer receiving on the tongue, I’d recommend speaking with your priest privately to explain your preference. Remember, the key is approaching the Eucharist with a heart full of faith and reverence. God bless!
Take it any way it depend on trust faith on jesus
God Bless You
If it was meant to be a catechesis on the Eucharist, it could have been presented with better content and more spiritual thought.
God Bless You
Prefer on hand palm
God Bless You
Try receiving Jesus on your tongue and experience the difference.

TODAY ANY ONE GIVES HOLY COMMUNION SOME WITH DIRTY HANDS WHICH SHOULD BE STOPPED SEE THAT ONLY THE PRIESTS AND NUNS DISTRIBUTE THE HOLY COMMUNION PLEASE DON'T GIVE LOCALS WHO ARE NOT PRIESTS

Some priest are not giving in mouth
Thank you for sharing your concern, Leena. It’s understandable that this can be a sensitive issue, especially since some priests stopped giving communion on the tongue during the COVID pandemic. I would suggest kindly approaching the priest after Mass and expressing your desire to receive communion on the tongue. Most priests are very understanding and will accommodate your request. It’s always best to communicate your preference directly so they can assist you in the way that feels most reverent for you. God bless!
Communion on the tongue not hand
Amen

I listen Fr. Chris from USA who says it was started in Europe by the tourists. You can see western countries who have secularists and modernists. Both are enemies of God.
