I've known a man who was an altar boy when he was young now a lay minister of the church had a personal experience regarding the eucharist. He use to play with the host as if it is just a simple bread and one day while the mass was being celebrated he saw the host turned to meat. This is his testimony the reason why up to now he serves the church.

According to historical accounts, the earliest recorded instance of receiving Communion on the tongue dates back to the 6th century. Pope Agapitus 1 (535-536 AD) is said to have administered Communion to a lame man, restoring his legs, and then placed the consecrated host on his tongue, as documented by St. Gregory the Great in his Dialogues (Book 3, Chapter 3).

@@jesuslovesyou512 i agree with you. What do we do when priests in zimbabwe will not give Holy Communion on the tongue. We either receive in the hand or we don't receive at all. I don't agree with it but after Jesus said the blessing, he broke the bread and gave it to the apostles in their hands.
That is my only consolation for being forced to receive Holy Communion in the hand.

I once read a short story by Graham Greene story called “A Hint of an Explanation”, a boy who was nearly bribed into committing a sacrilege with the Eucharist. The miracle that took place was almost identical to this. It’s worth reading, I didn’t know miracles like that happened in my lifetime.

In my Church in mumbai 95% receive Holy Communion on their hands.
I too was hesitant but decided to take it on my tongue. Initially it was awkward but now i boldly receive it on my tongue.
Also i notice lay ministers are so scared that their fingers may touch the tongue leading to embarrassing moments.

I do not dispute Eucharistic Miracles. There are many which are documented, investigated and approved by Holy Mother Church. I have yet to come across one where the Host turns into bloody flesh IN THE MOUTH and has been approved by the Church. Pls let me know if you know of any. The one at Naju was rejected by the Church.
Is this miracle instituted by Yeshua? Why only one host? what did the bible say about endtime miracles? who does them? Evidence of disguised appearence and unbiblical recitations?? Eucharistic miracles in the past has happened only to one person at a time like that happened in Lanciano, to the doubting monk, or in Orvieto which led to the celebration of the Corpus Christi
