I’m planning on doing my first TWIM retreat at Dhamma Sukha. Aside from Delson, is there a teacher you recommend? Right now the options are David Johnson or Bhante Kusala. I’m from California if that means anything. Who would you recommend?
Greetings friend. Good for you for taking action into your hands! I’ve met Bhante Kusala briefly. David has lots of experience over many years with Bhante Vimalaramsi and basically managing Dhamma Sukha. Bhante has years of experience living the Dhamma life as a fully ordained monk from a country that has a deep culture of the teachings of the Buddha. Perhaps watch some videos of Dhamma talks each of them have given and see which you resonate the most with. Best Wishes with the retreat and the journey in general. I’ll be happy to hear anything you care to share about your experience if you’d like to share.
Quite a journey and thanks for sharing much love.
You are an inspiration
