Located just across the Villeroy & Boch estate in Überherrn, 800 square meters of treasures await. Crystal, dishes, furniture, and collectibles are offered at amazing prices. Dealers could make a mint in this store reselling antiques. Rock bottom prices will have you on the next plan to Germany. Mid-Century is plentiful, along with a 1950's kitchen cabinet that Hollywood set designers would scoop up in a heartbeat. Grandfather clocks and hand carved antiques are there for the taking. So many Villeroy & Boch dish patterns under one roof. You have to see it to believe it. Join me for a tour of the biggest bargain basement of all time!

Now this is my kind of store. Seriously concidering visiting. The "Maastricht" on the "Delft" plates refers to the city of Maastricht. Besides Delft in the West of the Netherlands, Maastricht in the most southern tip of the Netherlands is known for producing fine china. Look out for brands like Mosa or Societe' ceramique. Those brands are amongst my favourites. Love the video, please take us again 😀.

I just cannot get over the prices, especially the hand carved furniture! I could spend days there just taking it all in! I loved the fish platter. Was surprised to hear that Waterford was not sold in Germany.
I shop for Christmas all year. I have never seen ornament toppers like on the glass ones you showed.

The blue cut to clear goblet you were holding as you described the process was so lovely; I would definitely have bought that. I enjoy collecting single glasses & using them as a mixed group.
I did purchase the exquisite glass and it's at our home in Germany. Morning juice tastes best out of this glass.

16:28 Loved this video!!! The grandfather clock on the left looks very similar to the one my parents bought in the Black Forest when my Dad was stationed over there. The brand is Kieninger and I know they were still in business recently as my Dad ordered parts for repairs from them. That is a fabulous place! The sheer volume is overwhelming. But I think I could bring myself to face it. 😉 I think any time I needed pretty much ANYTHING except for food and drugstore items, I'd be heading off here first - though that could be dangerous to the budget! What a wonderful place and how lucky that it's close to your home there. It really sounds like you're ideally situated there. ❤

Oh how amazung. I sooo enjoyed this fuided tour through the antiques market. My father's family are originally from Germany. I have always wanted to travel through Europe. Should have when I was young, but now, being 60 something it seems a bit daunting. Your knowledge impresses me. Certainly would love to go shopping with YOU! God Bless You.
I would be there like a child in a candy shop. I love Villeroy & Boch specially Cadiz(1970-1984 I believe) and Pasadena(1991-2005)
I remember when Pasadena was “born”. There is a second hand V&B shop in Mettlach you would enjoy. It’s near the factory store and owned by Frau Much. Worth a visit!
Happy New Year! I love your show. I am from Bavaria, Veitshochheim by Wurzburg. I did take a lot of crystal and a set of dishes along with me to the states. In 1964!
However I was gifted 3 Fir Coats, Mink,
by a friend, who was too tall to wear her Mother-in-law's firs. They raised Mink in Texas. I shared a beautiful black jacket and kept a white coat with a white mink collar and a cape.
I love beautiful crystal and dishes. Nobody in my family shares this. Perhaps my great Grandchildren will enjoy some. I am almost 80 now!

Maastricht is not a brand. It is a place in Limburg. It is just a town. I am so jealous about this store. We come a lot in Germany but this is just to far away. I don't know if there are more of these stores in Germany. Would love to check them out. Dank fur das Video und biss nächste Mal. Tschüss

Oh ja, an die Paloma Picasso Kollektion kann ich mich auch noch erinnern als sie in den Geschäften war. Das war die Zeit wo ich für meinen neu gegründeten Haushalt eingekauft habe. Ich fand sie sehr stylisch aber für mich damals zu teuer.

@@blueseaview1119 Hi. I respect your comment. I never had that view whenever I would see someone wearing a fur coat. While I personally choose not to wear fur, I sometimes wear real leather when it is vintage. When a fur coat or fur-trimmed article is vintage or is antique, those animals unfortunately were slaughtered a very long time ago, so when a human wears a vintage or antique fur, that "recycling" doesn't waste that part of the animal.
And then, what to make of us who wear faux fur, pleather, etc.? If I choose to wear a faux-fur-trimmed stole or, say, pleather boots, am I encouraging other humans to take up wildlife hunting or to go looking for a furrier? I highly doubt that. There are people out there who wear a vintage fur because they love foxes, for example. I absolute adore lynxes and am happy that human beings helped them make a comeback from near extinction. It isn't hypocrisy if I were to come across a lynx coat during my travels and try it on. I likely wouldn't be able to *afford* that lynx coat. However, the humaneness inside of *me* would've felt sad that the coat is hanging there and that lynx (or those lynxes) who was (were) slaughtered never could be honored again.
It comes down to personal taste and choice. Think of the scores of movies over the past century, and counting, in which stars are wearing ermine stoles and such. Viewing those films today on cable, DVD/BluRay and/or in community film festivals doesn't cause folks to murder animals.
By the way, I dearly love animals and have made charitable donations for decades to organizations that preserve wildlife and that save domesticated animals, yet I am neither a vegetarian nor a vegan.
