I use this exact light for my night rides, and it's amazing! I bought a second one, and mount it on my helmet with the battery pack in my bag. Turns out I end up getting personal records on my downhill sections because there aren't other users on the trails at night, and I feel comfortable rippin' as fast as I can with these lights! I use a Timber bell to keep the wildlife away, or at last let it know I'm coming!

One of my favorite times to ride, in the dark! I find it very peaceful as well. That light is certainly going to light the way!

Congrats on your first official product placement!
Now everyone is going to keep bugging you to charge their stuff when you're out riding.

I used to ride a casual trail in the middle of the Florida Everglades at night with a buddy just to see wildlife (gators, snakes, etc.) and we were not disappointed.

Great time to get that light. Trail cruising at night is great. Road riding at night, not so much.🤣 Have fun with it

Very cool . I'm pretty addicted to trail riding at night. As your comfort level goes up , and speed increases you'll soon discover the need for a helmet mounted light as well. Simply because at night , you're going to have to scan the terrain ahead of your bike as your turning. The bike however may not be into the turn yet , so your helmet light will follow your line of sight. Enjoy 😉

Just did my first nite ride the other nite. I would recommend getting another light on your helmet. But I have to check that light out.

I ride at night all the time. I run a Bontrager Ion Elite R Front Bike Light, it puts out 1000 Lumens. Congrats on them sending you a cool product. Great video man!

I ride my 2021 Roscoe 6 with the Garmin UT800 (Front) and RTL515 (Rear Light & Radar), which are the perfect combo for me (NO WIRES), plus they are both able to be controlled from my Garmin head unit. Congrats Matty…. 🇺🇸

I use a small coast light and the olight bike mount but my guardian angel elite is also insanely bright 🌞

It's like see in the day. Those lights are amazing, I ride a lot at night and I got an entire selection of Magicshines, starting for a simple MJ-900 with an upgraded battery (MJ-6116C 7.2V 7.000MAH), it's just 1200 LUMS and the people scream to me because the light hurt the eyes if you look it. I imagine how powerful is that light. You should check the SeeMee 200 for the rear.

The beam pattern on that light is just right. A wide beam that covers both sides of the trail and throws a long distance. How is the heat at max brightness? Only thing to be careful of. Plus use as a battery pack for charging is a really nice plus.
Cheating when I get my trek bike though. Converting to mid drive e-bike.
I just came from the website to see the price and it is priced really well. The description says not as wide a beam as some of there other bike lights but I think it is just right. So for price vs value I would rate the light a 5/5

it is a Very bright ligh. Have not gone to the website yet to get more details like CHARGING TIME/ESTIMATED BATTERY LIFE/PRODUCT WEIGHT etc... etc... Was the mount very secure to your bike? Did it rattled as you rode? Did it leave marks on your frame once you removed it? As far as wildlife as you are riding... I guess as long as we don't become road kill, critters will leave us alone 😬😁🤣😂😎

let us know if you’re getting hit by the bugs attracted by the light. I am thinking that may be the only wild life it attracts😁.

    • @MattyActive
      @MattyActive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Now that you mention it I didn’t have any bug issues. That’s definitely something to think about

I'm pointing the lights down and lower the capacity when someone is coming towards me .
5000 lumens in your face at night it is not to pleasant .

if you are worried about wildlife just get an e bike... no animal will chase you down if you can go 30mph
they will just just leave you alone and chase something slower
