I am loving this idea of story telling. Of looking at my life as a series of stories. My struggle is, I am not a great picture taker. I often get caught up in the experience, & later on wish I had the picture. Are there tricks or tools that people use to improve their picture taking? Are there tricks or tools to “seeing” stories in your life?

This is so so good! Thanks Ali this was such great context. I think for a long time I struggled to find good places to include the story on layouts bc it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing based on what was popular/available for inspiration. I love the story of the story evolution and also OMG baby Simon!

Thanks for this. I was feeling bad that I only have photos in some albums. I’m going to make more of an effort to add context in my future stories though. Thanks for reminding me of what a story can be and that it’s okay not to include the words sometimes.

Thank you so much for this, Ali! I always seem to struggle to put pen to paper for some reason. This really makes me wanna practice more. Also gotta remember that no one’s grading my writing either. 🙄🙈 Getting a glimpse at all your different albums, it’s not the first time that I find myself wishing your handwriting was a font.😆

I have Ali’s handwriting as a font from way back when from CK. Unfortunately it is not a “script” font, so the letters are not linked together to form the word.
