This video I have seen at least 3 times. It is so nice to watch this. You as a sweet child going back and forwards in time, with this beautiful music. I can also hear your voice has changed comparing to when you were a teenager.

My sisters and I just finished building our scrapbooks for all of our school years! My 6th grade teacher actually called me today and texted me her photo! I graduated 5 months pregnant, eloped with my high school sweetheart. We've been married over 30, years and have 7 children & 8 Grandchildren so far! Class of "90

That's amazing!! I definitely need to go back and do my elementary school years. I made photo albums in junior high and high school, and I also have one that I made after summer camp. Those are pretty hilarious to look back on nowadays! I'm glad you and your sister made scrapbooks for your school years, how fun! Thanks for watching!!

Thanks Verna! I feel bad because I didn't do a great job scrapbooking Zoe's life, sigh. By the time pictures moved to a digital format, many of our memories got stuck on various disks and other storage media. I need to get them printed (or at least make some digital scrapbooks!) What can I say, I had eclectic taste (and still do!) When it comes to music, I kind of go through phases when I'm into certain genres. I've always assumed other people do that too, but who knows! Nowadays, I find myself listening to 80s music almost exclusively. Call me old-fashioned, but I think it just doesn't get any better! Hi! I’m really enjoying your videos. I grew up in Abilene, TX class of ‘96 and it seems we had a lot of the same experiences as high schoolers. I was laughing so hard when you were explaining about mums. I guess in Abilene, we were really extra when it came to mums. Some girls would wear, all at the same time, a mum they’d crafted themselves, a mum from their dad, a mum from their boyfriend, and a bunch of little mums from their friends lol. They could barely walk down the halls. I myself, had one mum that I’d had since about 4 or 5th grade, and added something to it every year. I didn’t find out until I was well into adulthood that people from other states didn’t do mums. How sad. We also had a casino night party for graduation. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and take care!

Your stories about the mums are absolutely hilarious. Looking back, isn't that such a funny traditions?! I can't believe the girls in your school wore multiple mums, lol! It's a crazy Texas thing, lol! High school students make or buy them for their homecoming dates. The girls wear mums (which are actually HUGE, fake chrysanthemum flowers) with tons of ribbons and charms hanging down. We wore them to school on Friday (the day of the homecoming football game) and the boys wear girls' garter belts, also decorated, on their arms. I know, it probably sounds like a totally bizarre tradition, and IT IS!!
