Thanks again for sharing your story. I really appreciate your effort and hard work making these videos. Nic, enjoy your time with your parents. I am sure that they are wonderful people just like you. Safe travels.
When I first watched you, it was a sweaty experience in Grenada for you. I worked full time then. Now I am in St. Croix on my sailboat. Headed to St. John in the morning. Thank you for years of inspiration. I gotta say the catamaran is a step beyond my desires. I like healing with the rail buried. Keep it real and enjoy life.
Nick, dreams do come true. I hope your time with your parents was a good one, thank you for sharing all of this with us. Twenty five years is a long time, but I'm glad you were able to finally make it happen.
Wow, our favourite Greek island - retired teacher living in Somerset. We love the Greek islands ended up going to Rodos for 12 consecutive years, stayed in town renting apartment from Greek family. Have a lovely time and i look forward to your journey around the island - Happy New Year to you both.
Wow.. congratulations guys. Thank you for sharing your story, my partner and I felt quite emotional watching this episode. Wishing you both and your parents a Happy New Year 🎊
I’ve been in Rhodos many times on a couple of these “ Humungous Cruise Ships “ ( I worked around 15 years on them) and must say, Rhodos is on the top 10 list where to go!! You bring many memories back. Thanks. ❤
What a nice stopover. Love popping in to your channel and seeing the best parts of your journey. Such a positive charm when many others push perceived disaster.
I've also been in anchorages were it looked tight but everyone had some space only to have the wind shift at 3am. It happens, plenty of fenders and a good attitude achieve far more than screaming abuse at someone who's just doing their best.
Wow what a life story .... Sorry to say but I got a tear and a lump in my throat and i think i Hurd something in Nicks throat !!!!!!!! At the moment i'm in the middle of no were 51 but one day ill be on the see!! Great channel and love your vid.
So glad to see you both enjoying the new boat after all the strife. And thanks for taking us along for the ride. And Nick, yes we noticed in the outro, you shaved and cleaned up for the visit to your parents.
Wow! Very cool episode. Beautiful place to be. I hope your visit with your parents was nice. Enjoy your time and your accomplishments. This was a very good story. Thanks for sharing 😊
I enjoyed that cruise thru the French Canals with it was beautiful and the added trip back to the Uk. Yeah, air cond all the way when we moved from the Blue Mountains 🇦🇺to the coast I said we had to have a swimming pool no regrets been in it everyday this summer, almost and the air cond great choice too, and the solar runs it too…
What is needed in the sailing community so sort of agreement the when you are at anchor you fly a certain flag designating how much chain you have out. To help it get accepted use, as an example, a yellow pennant flown between the bow and top of the mast with the number 40 in the middle. This would signify you have 40 meters out. For sixty meters of chain the a red with the number 60 Just might give people an idea of how close the might be within the arc. Both of us, our children and grandchildren will probably be dead before this idea would be accepted. I’m 77 live in the mountains of western North Carolina and since I follow you great channel consider myself an ocean sailor by proxy.
Well nick, there seems to be a touch of the Irish in your Aussie Girl these days, she sure looks like the marrying kind Nick! I am thinking you are a lucky guy Nick, well, you two seem to work so well together! Thank you for sharing your travels all these years! Happy New Year!
Nick, what is it like for you to have achieved a major life goal? What have you been thinking? Have you shifted perspectives in any way? What is important to you now?
Great show guys an it’s great to achieve your goals in life it would be nice to see more of the islands you visit an a walk around each town an a little history nik most no a lot of history with his parents coming from grease an wold be nice to meet the parents 👍
How exciting to check off a bucket list item and to see a lifetime goal come to fruition. Congratulations. I loved watching you sail through the Canal du Midi. Happy New Year to you both. May 2025 be filled with wonderful adventures and joy for you both.
Really interesting video with a lot of your background in it . With important shackles, like the one on your sail that failed, wouldn't it be a good idea to at least tape them or lock wire them so they won't work loose ?
I apologize if you have already answered this question but I couldn’t find a comment on here about this subject. Have you been following the Wynns plight with their HH boat?
8:46 - 'Inconsiderately' is a word & I'll perhaps now inconsiderately say that Terysa looks gorgeous with her green top on doing pieces to camera, she's not like a elf at all Nick!
I’ve followed you two for many years. Still, it was a surprise to discover that Nick is a Dentist. Would you mind sharing T’s background before sailing? Thanks.
48 is lethal .. 52 C is terrifying when the coastal waters exceed body temperatures you know that life is struggling in the coastal water .... and then comes the Fires and the explosive storms. 😬🧙🏼♂️. Boats and flying boats caught my interest in the SW 🇬🇧 sitting on the Pilgrims steps or the Hoe. Thinking through the Geology and landscape changes from the Ice age and flooding of the Mediterranean on. 😉🧙🏼♂️ and how the ancient Phonescians and others sailed into the Atlantic and up to the Same shores to trade for Tin, Lead and Copper .. they called them the Cassiteridies ...the forested Tin islands.
It's funny that is a much more tropical place than my fantasy sailing grounds. Then again, I don't own a boat yet. Nunavut's north coast in Canada's northwest messages know that top of the list for me.
Guess this video has been recorded almost 3 month ago. Anyhow, officially you are not allowed to leave Greek waters into Turkish water with your Greek Transit Log if you did not checked out in Greece. I know cases where the Greek authorities have seized down ships doing so. Also the Turkish coast guard, especially under current situation where Turkey is arguing with Greece about returning some of the Greek Islands, is acting very strict on that and you could see yourself very unexpected in real trouble and arrested.
Teresa you do realize that you are extremely precious to Nick. You have a great channel and I am really glad I found it.
Congratulations Nick & Terysa. Achieving these life ambitions is no small thing !! Well done !!
I've been watching y'all for, 11 years, at 74 ya bring back my happy times much love ❤
3:19 - the admiral is always right 😂! Congrats on a dream come true ❤.

I started watching your channel in the French Canals! It was amazing!
I've also been in anchorages were it looked tight but everyone had some space only to have the wind shift at 3am. It happens, plenty of fenders and a good attitude achieve far more than screaming abuse at someone who's just doing their best.

If I can remember, Nick is a Doctor of Dentistry! And I believe Nick provided volunteer services to people out in the world!
Happy new year, here’s wishing you both love, laughter and happiness in 2025.
Congratulations. 🥳

Nice one!
Brilllllliant RR2 - thanks for sharing ⛵️ 👍. Drop the mike 😊😊 Amazing execution of a dream
After 25 years it must feel great to be home, have a wonderful time.
The thumbnail of Ruby Rose in the French canals with all the fenders around it along with the video is what made me a subscriber.
Really enjoyed watching!
A lovely story and long time desires achieved
Gypsy Moth was actually Sir Francis Chichester’s boat. Chay Blyth’s was British Steel.
We are enjoying life just as you suggested. Happy New Year!
Ity is a great time to come back by boat Nick. I hope your parents are well.
The French canals were my favourite bit too!
How exciting for ya'll ❤❤❤
Congratulations nice story Nick ❤
Like me returning on Wave Dancer to Bere island in Bantry bay where I learned how to sail after 30 years
Did a lot of wakeboarding in Lindos 20 years ago - fun town (in my 30s).
Thankyou 👍

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🙏🙏🙏👍🤛😎🦅🇺🇸
Some sailors take pride in encroaching on others anchor room. 2% are purposeful a-holes. They smile when you relocate.
The heat is a problem. If nyou re cold there is always some more clothing to don. If you are hot there is a limit to how much you can remove.
Really interesting video with a lot of your background in it .

The French Canals. Crikey, was it that long ago? 😮😮😮😮
I’ve followed you two for many years. Still, it was a surprise to discover that Nick is a Dentist.

Thanks.
We have Snow here in Ireland. 😁
1977 recorded the all time highest tempetures in Athens, Greece at 48C / 118 F.

Love every episode more and more! Congratulations and well done for making it to a 25 year long dream come true!!!!
Have you considered putting fenders out when at anchor just in case anyone hits you? I have done this in the past, specifically around Mallorca.
Welcome Home
So, are you going to rent a small sailboat and take us out for an itty-bitty sail? That's good content. LOL
Thanks for sharing another chapter.

Nice song on the outro
Great content as always! Questions, why didn’t you deploy the asymmetric at 150 AWA? Y’all have a spin pole?
Looks like spinnaker weather to me.
Hello from Simi Ca. ps. I love the green/brown Shaggy outfit, where is ScoobyDoo?
All the best for 2025 😊
Never apologize for deserving air conditioning!!!
Is there any clothing optional beaches around there. lol

You guys have to have some "you" time somewhere. 🙂
Gee man ... Meltemi dies at night, it doean't pick up...
