    The Higher Education sector needs reforming and the SDP has the answers to how this should be done.

    Plain and simply there are too many going to university, 50% according to a 2019 BBC article, and there are too many sub-par universities that really don't give you much bang for your buck and take someone out of the workforce for 3 entire years. The UK government itself acknowledges that only 61%, for 2023/4 but for 2022/3 only 21%, of students will pay back their loans and by the mid 2040s there will be £460 billion in outstanding student loan debt, which to me is indicative of how poorly many students fare after uni.
