@@MbappeDaGoat That's literally why this channel is so successful, what you said just isn't true. You just don't see it because it's "taboo" to be openly conservative especially for younger people. Yeah agreed. I love Brett but she immediately judged him on being an Atheist . No Brett, not believing in God does not make your life more meaningless , on the contrary life has more meaning because we don't believe in the afterlife so we make the best out of this one. It's a matter of taste and I like him :)
Dating seems like a massive headache and generally not worth it. There are too many subtle moves and social traps. Why can't people just be honest about what they actually want?
"You have to walk a fine line between confidence and arrogance." That statement makes my brain hurt. Women are so picky and don't seem to accept any flaws.
For the record, I became a fan of Brett from watching her TikTok content. She seemed very intelligent and based, for such a young woman and I then looked her up on TH-cam, watched a few videos and then subscribed. So, Brett, your TikTok videos may be your minimalist work, but it brought me to your TH-cam content and later a subscriber.
Rule number one whenever you are greeting a person that is walking towards you while you are sitting is to stand up to greet them with a handshake, I am actually shocked that Brett didn’t notice that the frat boy type of guy failed to do so
Honestly, Brett should be a counsellor. She can probably easily stop someone from jumping off a bridge. This young lady is truly amazing! She is full of wisdom :)
Same!! For me, my faith in God is the MOST important thing in my life so if my partner/possible future partner is not a man of faith, like I'm sorry but this isn't going to work. He could be prince charming and perfect in everyday but if he doesn't have a relationship with Jesus, he's not the one for me.
Brett's energy and humour is the best. I love how logical/smart she is and anytime I watch these videos I die of laughter or if its serious im constantly agreeing. Brett please continue being the awesome person you are and have a nice rest of your day (:
I don’t think she was necessarily offended by him asking her age…. It was the way he said it… And the fact that it was the very first statement out of his mouth 🤣 I would be thinking the same thing…. I must look really old if that’s the first thing you notice when meeting me! I personally believe that gentleman may be on the spectrum. He’s very abrasive.
As a woman, I don't get it either. Although in this case, it's how he asked the question and the fact that it was the first thing he said to her. He also has a resting disgusted face, so he looks like he is disgusted by every person that sits in front of him. It's honestly better to have a rbf than have a resting "someone has dog crap on their shoe" face. 😂

Me and my friends have a joke that one guy is going to wear a lobster suit to our weddings. So we always joke that the first question is to see if the girl will allow this. One of my female friends said not to do this, because it would scare women away to talk about marriage right away. I simply said something along the lines of "if they don't have a sense of humor or they are not ready for marriage then why would we be doing this."
Dating and relationships to me are very personal, and I couldn't do this whole "display" effort on a show or an online channel to play off of the other person. That's creepy!

I rarely comment on videos like these, though I feel compelled to say that Brett's views on dating, feminism, and the current socio-political landscape feel very astute to a similar background and established values I find in myself and my own family. Things I very much find respectable. The thing that I really wanted to say is that confidence has always been touted as a very positive and desirable trait in men to women, and it really is such a fine line between confidence and arrogance. It is something I have expressed concerns to others about and tried to see their perspective. Is confidence in this context simply the ability to holds strong and uplifting belief in ones self and their abilities? Or is it about putting your best foot forward even to the extent of hiding your less appealing traits to provide the best appearance? I feel that current society spouts the first as the ideal, but in all honesty points to the second being more generally attractive. It's certainly something I feel something all men should consider and balance against their values, making sure that you are providing not only a strong belief in yourself, but a humbleness to know that we aren't perfect but are wanting to accept that and be more. That would be a man I respect more.

He didnt say his whole life was miserable. A lot of things are awful and people try to make it better. People get stuck in bulls---, Brett. No matter how hard they try.
Mark, rule number 1, have even a little bit of confidence. But not too much since that's called arrogance. Rule 2, never ask a girl about her age. Age is just a number, remember that. What's important is their attitude and how they talk. Btw confidence is very important. Even if you don't have any, fake it till you make it. Not in a lie your way out of it kind of way, but try to hide your insecurities, remember that you're there to meet people, you're there to be out of your comfort zone. So just be comfortable being out of your comfort zone once in a while, that will really help you meet people. That said, if you really are introverted then this kind of meetup isn't for you. Best to stick to chatting with a girl first then work your way up to meeting them personally. Btw that guy who did the joker impression sucked. He sounded more like Owen Wilson 😂
I am gemini and I guess I tend to be really chill and observant, a lot like Michael. I've met others who tend to be similar too, but you can't judge everyone by their zodiacs. I believe your personality is rooted both by your nature, in your genes, and also by your family as you grow up. Stars do not dictate any of that.
I’m honestly not the best with women, struggling a bit with finding fun conversation topics and keeping it flowing… but seeing Mark’s interactions made me feel like Chris hemsworth at a party with single moms or something
I agree the man should pick the place, but the woman can answer the question that was asked, asking someone what they like to eat and where they want to go are 2 very different questions. Example: Man: what do you like to eat? Woman: I like Asian food, like Thai or sushi. Man: I have the perfect place in mind, I'll pick you up at 08:00. Man: where do you want to go for dinner. Woman: I don't know I'm a woman so I don't know what I want. These are 2 very different conversations, and I unfortunately have had both.
There’s nothing more beautiful than people giving up their own safety to help others. My husband is a first responder, and it is one of many things that makes him so attractive. He is strong and brave, yet caring and gentle all at the same time.

Gosh that is sad. I mean life is rough sometimes but we all have the power to make the most of it and choose to be happy. We all have the power to make our lives something great. I get stuff happens that's out of our control but we have the power to get back up and move on and learn. Dating is a whole learning thing too. Some things need to wait to be shared with another person until you know eachother more. And you're not hiding things by doing that. You're just waiting for the right time and place and person to share your personal baggage with. Anyways, lighten up y'all! Choose to be happy and make the most of your life. If you are in a rough patch in life don't loose hope. There is so much good out there. Just gotta go find it. Maybe the job you're working at now sucks or causes you a lot of stress but maybe make some goals on what that job is going to help you achieve in life. Might give you a better outlook on life.
So happy that the narcissist, Maria, got humbled. As someone who works in a pharma company and works with people like this (and not being one of them) I see these personalities and a whole ither mix quite a bit. You really can keep your worldview small woth thinking that way and I'm happy that people who are underestimated like Sean and Tyler can register their emotions much better probably because they've had a different walk of life. They probably were humbled at a much different point in life and don't put themselves on a pedestal and a realist that not everyone is the same or has to be to be successful. Really good video! And I so agree with you about focusing back on education.
my personality is unnervingly similar to Spencer's and it's funny because when i was single i went on dates with a few women who told me basically the same thing as Brett: they would reluctantly--almost as if it pained them--admit that i'm funny and charming but then they would tell me i'm "just not serious relationship material." and then we'd proceed to hang out for another 2-3 hours lmao
Gonna stick up for Mark here. When you say just be confident, it's very difficult. Like you saying I can't swim and me just throwing you in the deep end and me saying just swim.
I agree, i'm not trolling or anything here just commenting. The more pressure we put on them the worse it gets. Tricky just to work on it, looks like he's trying. Best of luck Mark.
"Honesty is the best policy," she said. "Don't say that to women!" she said, when Mark was being blunt. Not sure what Brett really wants here. Honesty or fake charisma/decorum? Draw the line better.
It's almost second nature for him I'm sure. He probably doesn't even realize he' being so negative which isn't conducive for any communication unless if it's a group of similar minds. There was a time when I focused on the negative. The part that saved me was I am quiet and don't talk much. I'm a good listener in that respect. When I do answer I was also blunt and straight to the point. I do believe Mark needed to at least be a little bit more mindful and think through his responses. If you notice, he didn't answer the original question what brings him joy. He only focused on the opposite; things that doesn't bring him joy. That's one way to end the conversation which I get. I'm not really a people person being an introvert and rather be left alone. Maybe, he's the same in that respect? Do it long enough, and when you are in an uncomfortable position where interacting with someone is required, doesn't always go so well. I would say he doesn't need confidence. No, what he needs is a bit of practice and formula/structure to follow in communications. The confidence comes after you have a plan/strategy and have done it enough times to be comfortable repeating it. Could be simple as always having a neutral or positive answer of your own for questions you ask the other. The likelihood of the same question being reflected back at you is very high. I don't think he was prepared to answer his own question. I get that it's a spur of the moment, but he should probably have a list of questions on the ready with his own responses.
Brett this is the most impressive thing I've ever heard someone your age say "if you don't like your job LEAVE IT" been saying this for years. Gave up a $75k a year job in IT working for a company sounds like neckfix. 5 years ago I became a over the road truck driver despite having two degrees, I just couldn't don't I hated IT so much. I love my job I have no bills no need to pay rent I get to travel for free get to do all kinds of fun things and best of all my (now 15 year old) daughter came with me. While it's wierd living In a room the size of a bathroom with you dad at her age I'm sure we love seeing the world together and doing fun stuff every day. I thank God every day I made the switch it's the best thing I ever did for myself.
LOL! Mark so grew on me. Started out as awkward but the fact he had no true filter and spoke his mind shows there is an element of truth that needs to be doled out during a date. Oh sure, he probably needs to rein it in somewhat but it did keep the ladies on their toes.

"Don't play games with men if you don't want them to play games with you" is the best advice you can give women.
Brett is acting like such a therapist to the first guy I love it, like she even makes her sponsors fun which is pretty much impossible
She is acting more like an incompetent moron tbh
I don't know why I never see the ruff greens ad insert coming. You literally say something like "That's ROUGH" and I sit there waiting for the next bit and get hit with the ad read like of course it's about Ruff Greens. That's RUFF. Good lord.
Going on a dating show for a date to me is ridiculous. I personally won't date anyone like that. To each their own.
Honestly, I think people make too much of a big deal out of these. It is just talking with someone you don’t know and seeing if you vibe, maybe make a new friend.
Finally, someone on the internet with common sense
As a teenage girl I really look up to you❤
I normally hate women but I’ll make an exception for you since you watch and look up to Brett

Nah. Seeing conservative channels ( like this one) trying to fit in with Gen Z is kinda cringe ngl.

I think Spencer is the kind of guy who makes good conversation on a first date to break the awkwardness. I think he just needs a chance lol
Yeah agreed. I love Brett but she immediately judged him on being an Atheist .
No Brett, not believing in God does not make your life more meaningless , on the contrary life has more meaning because we don't believe in the afterlife so we make the best out of this one.
It's a matter of taste and I like him :)
Mark: “my life is depressing and I hate my job, you should date me” lol what a way to open up
Dating seems like a massive headache and generally not worth it. There are too many subtle moves and social traps. Why can't people just be honest about what they actually want?
I can't agree more. Dating is a waste of time. Brett's show reinforced this believe tenfold.

TikTok is bad, m'kay. Communists support the CCP. Are you one of them?

I'm on the same page as the first girl; truly respect her sticking to her guns and not dropping her faith based standards

Same!! For me, my faith in God is the MOST important thing in my life so if my partner/possible future partner is not a man of faith, like I'm sorry but this isn't going to work. He could be prince charming and perfect in everyday but if he doesn't have a relationship with Jesus, he's not the one for me.

For the guy that said smelling like soap wasn't a deal breaker, wouldn't smelling like soap be a good thing? It means she won't stink.
The dealbreaker was stinking. Since she smelled like soap(good), her smell wasn’t a dealbreaker
If soap is a deal breaker for him, I don't know what he's wanting her to smell like.
He phrased it wrong. Mark is awkward a bit- bless him.
Soap means she actually washed. Anyone can spray perfume
I broke out a notepad for this one! As a recently divorced man, dating in this 2023 world is a nightmare. I'm hearing you Brett and thank you 😄
Brett's energy and humour is the best. I love how logical/smart she is and anytime I watch these videos I die of laughter or if its serious im constantly agreeing. Brett please continue being the awesome person you are and have a nice rest of your day (:
Way too many women get offended when you ask their age. It's a perfectly reasonable question.
Its because women are often judged based on their age, it's why they et defensive
It may be cultural. In some parts of the world women embrace their age and don't hide it.
Because women age like milk and men age like wine. So when a women is old she is SUPER insecure about her age. (not all women)
I find that the more positive you become, the more opportunities come your way, too.
I’m engaged to my high school sweetheart so I haven’t experienced any first dates since I was 17. I knew I was blessed to have her before watching some of these videos but the modern dating scene comes off so miserable and depressing.

HIm: Why can't I get a date?
Girl: What's your favorite color?
Him: My life sucks. Scratch that. The entire world sucks and my life is miserable.

Mark really finds the ONE and only reply that is wrong for every question.
He's being honest. He is only talking about his family not every family and job. He probably is trying to improve his life. Most people are. It's not that easy.

You go girl. That's one of my deal breakers too.
I agree the man should pick the place, but the woman can answer the question that was asked, asking someone what they like to eat and where they want to go are 2 very different questions. Example:
Man: what do you like to eat?
