- The most expensive and high quality goldfish I have ever seen! If they were cheaper, I would have went home with a lot of these stunning fish. I never knew goldfish could be as expensive as these!

My local petco tends to get some hella good fancy goldfish but you gotta get there when they get a shipment in to get the best pick.

Never could get in to goldfish. Just not my thing, but a couple of my friends have them and spend insane money on them. Like more than twice the cost of my entire 55g community setup including stock, for just a couple of goldfish

For those who are wondering why the prices for fancy goldfish in the US usually cost more, it is mainly the shipping fees. The fish have to be passed through several hands before they get to the receiver. Airline fees and transhippers as well. Not to mention, goldfish usually carry more diseases as well so a reputable seller should be medicating and quarantine the first before selling to the public. Which cost time and money. Thats why they are much cheaper in Asia where they are from haha
At my local fish breeder we paid like $150 for 3 beautiful fancy goldfish.
Beautiful, but over price. I can get these goldfish between 45 dollars to 110 dollars. And excellent condition good quality. (In NY)
for us filipinos the price for those are P50 or P40

These qualities are sold too costly in U.S and few other countries. I guess because of the import charges. Otherwise those quality are not really high quality but still, it's imported. So in India that 500$ fish you can get it around 70$ to 100$ max.
That’s not how it works it’s graded on the showing and breeding quality. Your fish won’t be show quality.

I guess you have seen my fishes and I know how it works. I own orandas from Nk, Shogun, Nana and Meng Bp farms Thailand. These are the top farms for Goldfish in the world. Majority of fishes goes from her. We'll i was just telling you the trust. If you don't want to trust. Try exploring high end farms. You'll come to know yourself.

@@Gk22632 in terms of quality, his goldfish are very high quality, but for size to price, you can generally find a better deal. I’ve seen goldfish go for 150 for babies from Luke? When you can buy a goldfish the same quality but mature
@jygergruz9562 Luke sells imports that he gets shipped en masse from overseas via a transshipper, quarantines for a while, marks up a good deal, and then ships locally for profit. His TH-cam channel made him rich so that's part of his investments. I wouldn't buy from him because he imports too many sick ones... but these here are not even high quality and way too pricey.

@@missyflutter5562 yeah the quality of the fish is decreased by a lot of you by them in places like petco or shit like that, but this video is just showing a price that could definitely be lesser if you find the correct people that breed them and take care of them
You could get these at a petsmart or big Al’s😂 they are not great looking in body shape nor spectacular in color. They are average, if not under average. I could get a panda Aranda of superb quality in Canada for around $60.

people with experience are calling it out. People like me who can walk into a fish store here anywhere and find way better body quality than what you see here and those are average coloring. I don’t know how crappy the goldfish trade is in the USA, but in Canada we are more expensive for everything but yet are goldfish are way more affordable apparently. I could get a quality panda oranda for $60. What they are asking $200 for in this video.. the 500 and $600 gold fish look like average colours you can get it any pet store here including PetSmart😂 the body shape is atrocious on the speckles
@@SL-cx4jv No you can’t and you took personally when I never said whom I was referring to, this shows a guilty concsience. Also it’s known worldwide that the best quality goldfish come from direct breeding lines in Asia and it’s why the quality isn’t as good the further away you get. Argue til you are blue in the face. I breed them sell them and live where the quality is highest. I tend not to argue with idiots as then there’d be two! Carry on thinking you’re right it’s a shallow existence I feel for you! 😊

These aren't even superior quality! Paying $500 for those FLAT BACKED Ranchu and fish with clamped fins would be insane.
Can anyone explain why they are so much? They look like the same ones at my local pet stores.
Their perfectly round back, symmetrical tail fin, large size, are just a few factors that determines their quality. Try checking for these characteristics when you're looking at your local pet store's goldfish. Rarely would they check out every box mentioned. However, if you do find one with those qualities, I'd snatch 'em up if I were you. ;)
It’s to do with the grading of the fish for showing and breeding purposes you can’t get fantastic quality (perhaps rarely) at pet shops or budget backyarders.

Overpriced you need to look for a smooth back the tails must be even the goldfish needs to have a thick wen but not covering the eyes that’s how you identify a good quality ranchu
