#2 '24 Green River Wanders

A local meander in the misty lowlands of Washington. Come along as we wander the Green River Drainage. Skipping the snowy mountains for the flooded forests. We start the day wandering through Flaming Geyser State Park. Progressing along the Green River Gorge to explore The Ghost Town of Franklin, WA.
Good to walk under the mossy limbs, but a ponderance. I find it interesting how in this area anything can vanish into nature so quickly. Roads I explored 25 years ago are new growth forests. A Town that shut down 100 years ago is nothing but some rocky bits under a field of blackberries and trees. I can't help but ponder what else is out there that we know little about, or have forgotten.
