I was struggling and procrastinating for writing the case study for a project. I was so confused on how I should frame everything inside the case study, this gave so much clarity. Please keep making such great content, cheers to you 🍻

Such an amazing video Anudeep 🤩.. very different from all the videos I have watched so far on youtube for case studies, which made me feel more overwhelmed.. so I procrastinated writing case studies until now.. I always had this doubt about how to make my case study standout for the recruiters.. the points you mentioned sound very doable, straightforward and actually make our case studies so much more interesting adding personal touch to it.

I really like how you make your content so engaging!! It never feels too long, but it feels too short on the maximum of your content. That's how much I love consuming your knowledge! Too good always!

I want to learn this too, I worked in complex b2b applications and it's not as simple as a grocery app or a cab app

    Hello Anudeep Sir!!
It's been a year since I've watched your videos and trained myself as a UX designer. Hats off to ur teaching that has inspired me every time to push myself cross the limits and raise the bar. Recently, I'm going to be a part of the UX hackathon and I'm preparing myself but at some point I'm lagging , as this is my first ux hackathon. Please provide me your guidance for the same...it would be great if u help me ❤🥹

Dude I Cannot tell you portfolio case studies is the only thing why I procrastinated or you can say delayed applying for job, god dammit I wasted so many months because of that and now I am carrying the weight of regret 🥲 I'm trying to forgive myself for the mistakes I have made. I didn't know switching my career would be this complicated and tough. Not the field but the process. I still have a strong interest in it, I still have a strong gut feeling I'll do really good in it but god I'm so stuck. 🙆🏻‍♀️ But I'll figure outttt also hey! I really really like your videos... I have watched some and I am really interested in watching more... Best wishes for your channel, you know your viewers pain point well 😉

    Anna Garu Intresting video
In my portfolio, I have a small case study that is presented in story mode, explaining a character, what he does, and how he does it. When I presented that case study, a recruiter asked whether I had applied for a designer position or a movie director position. I had awage response, but I didn’t have a proper answer for him. Also, the storytelling method took time to explain, requiring at least 10 minutes to cover simple features of user interaction, usability, overall experience, and how the feature adds value. This left little time to discuss the main decisions, and there wasn't time for stories. The recruiter simply asked for a video link that some junior HR would see and get back to me.
What should I do in this situation?, Time matters hai naa.

You don't need to bore the interviewers with a story. Save it for your portfolio: trim the unnecessary sections, don't go overboard with the "emotions" part, be focused on the core feature you're building/redesigning. As for the interview, ALWAYS make a slide deck. I have learnt it from experience: no articles, no storyboards and definitely no Figma files. Always present a slickly-made deck: filled with insights (not your process), your decisions (not tons of explorations), the screens, the impact and your learnings. Keep it crisp within 10 minutes. That doesn't mean you don't do the stuff yourself. Just don't present everything you do, but be prepared to discuss it with your interviewer in the time remaining. Good luck!
