Kano is one of the OGs of grime music dating back to garage days and the dungeon days. He was one of the handful guys to get tv time through his music which for grime was back then an impossible feat even bbk only had a few which is why wiley straight up switched up his stuff with more pop upbeat songs like heatwave but Kano stuck it out and carried the scene for a while and was and still is heavily involved in the background of some stuff giving advice and mentoring artist.
Kano was a one hit wonder, couple of features here and there but Ps and Qs is the only song ppl recognise him for!

ie reggae dancehall artists singing on top of the music with added reggae voice samples over classic reggae/dub and/or reggae horns and sirens.
Named after Jungle, an area in Jamaica.
Lee Perry - Blackboard Jungle LP. From the 70s was calling his music Jungle
And named for the music having so many things happening at once.
