    I don't really feel so good, why because I'm very so confused right now, because this is very awful to see.
    one I want to see the bridge when you train can run very going far verry far
    it's going to be very beautiful view
    , but can we watch the that tunnel
    it's not looking very nice to see
    and also when we going inside of the Baltic rail train
    you can see it is very boring to see the dark
    *Please change your mind*

      AULIS A.O.T A bridge would completely ruin the scenery around the gulf of finland, not to mention that ride time would be dramatically slower than a tunnel. The whole point of the tunnel is to connect Tallinn and Helsinki as fast as possible. It would bring big economic impacts that would have a great lasting effect. The tunnel isn’t there to look out the window, its there to be economical and practical.

    a lot of dough to link two minor cities.

      Between them is the world's busiest passenger ship route. The previous one (English Channel) already has a rail line underneath it. The bonus would be that Finns and Estonians are closely related people with quite similar languages so it would be like a country re-unification. (Areas around current St. Petersburg used to belong to this happy family too before Russians arrived which split these people apart.)

    • @themaster1670
      @themaster1670 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      "Minor Cities", just 2 capitals of some of the most technologically advanced nations in the world, both of which have advanced science and high-quality electronics industry. Not to mention it would also link the Nordics to mainland Europe, as well as bring Estonia closer to the Nordics, and Estonia used to be connected to Finland through the area of "Ingria" before the Russians came and messed things up, it also used to be a part of Denmark and Sweden as well. So this might be a great economic benefit, while at the same time it's like reuniting with a long lost family member.

    • @Taevas___
      @Taevas___ 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im gonna clear this up. Here’s a bit from wiki:
      The economic benefits would be significant, both in terms of increased connections and economic integration between the two cities (the Øresund Region has been offered as an example), but also in a wider context of convenient passenger train connections between Southern Finland and the Baltic states, and a fixed link for freight from across Finland on to the Rail Baltica, thus providing a rail freight connection with the rest of Europe. An estimated 12.5 million annual passengers would use the tunnel.
      Geopolitically, the tunnel would connect two close but separated parts of the European Union in an environmentally friendly way, removing the need to use sea or air transport, or to travel through Russia. The Helsinki-Tallinn connection is part of the EU's TEN-T network's North Sea-Baltic corridor. The ports of Helsinki and Tallinn have previously received EU funding to improve transport conditions between the two cities.
      In short, it could bring a higher GDP, higher tourist numbers, more trade and more jobs.
      The reason why a Tallinn-Stockholm tunnel isn’t needed, is because Sweden is already connected to the rest of Europe. Estonia doesn’t do much trade with Sweden, and doesn’t need to. The little trade now can be done by cruise-ferries. It’s as simple as that.
