Thanks again for your thorough review and you are the only one to tell us, how to release the pole from the cleaner. I would never have guess that we needed a screwdriver and insert at back of unit.
Excellent and very informative. I hate going to a video where I am trying to learn anything and the person teaching me wants to be a comedian....all I want are the facts and tips....so thank you for that !!
Just bought Shark Carpetxpert from Amazon, added more of both cleaning solutions to order so they have extra available. I definitely needed more of Deep clean solution. Directions scared me but your two videos were EXACTLY what I needed to assemble and use it. Emphasis on pre-vacuuming needed, pre-treatment of pet stains needed much more emphasis. Such muddy-looking water down the toilet. Yech. Fans running to dry overnight. Carpets are low pile. Significant improvement . Thanks for your clear complete guidance.
Just a quick information, currys pc world in the UK has this shark cleaning solution 😊 cleaning solution with 1,4 litres cost 10£ Oxi solution 940 ml cost 15£ The bundle is 23£ Thank you for your videos, I really appreciate you 😊
Looks like it would definitely be easy to clean all parts so I think Shark did good job with that. I do like all the different attachments so that's also good. Can't wait to see the demonstration.
Great video. I've had my machine for a couple of weeks. Hadn't expected to use it until I just spilled a chocolate milk shake. So here I am on a late Sunday afternoon trying to put it together. If it wasn't for your video I wouldn't have the confidence to use it.
Thank you for an amazing how to as far as setting it up to get all the awesome features this machine has to offer. I look forward to seeing the actual cleaning video to see what Shark has put out. I have been a Shark person when it comes to all my vacuum needs over the years and I did just purchase this carpet machine and can't wait to see what it does BEFORE I use it. Keep uploading amazing useful videos. I found this to be absolutely useful! Thanks again.
Thank you so much. Your video really helped me out alot. The way you explained how to put it together and how to take the handle off. Thank you again 😊😊😊😊😊 I give you a 100 and more rating.
It's only a cap full per tank of water, or at least my Rainbow tools take only that much. Maybe two. Also, if you run out of solution just use Bissell or another and when you are finished using it, flush the lines and pump with water. Most of these machines, including Bissell, Rainbow and others (with the exception of Rug Doctor) use a non-lathering solution anyway. This is a neat attempt at a carpet and upholstery washer. I like the idea of the crevice tool built into the end of the hose and the variety of attachments and the ease of maintenance built in with the removable diverter valve cartridge.
Bloody love mine, no isses so far and compeared too our bissle platinum its so much lighter and easy to use. Tanks are smaller but its no hardship in reality as its domestic use. The wand is far better than the bissels, and to clean the head is so easy rather than having to unscrew the front. Just much better, not had any issues with water. Never had a machine that can leave it perfectly dry after, shark does better than my bissel even when it was new. The head cleaning tool is just a nice touch, so simply but yet so useful for ease of cleaning. Would have been nice to have the LED lights at the bottom thats one thing i wish it had like the vacuums but again its nothing major just a niggle.
On the handle there is a cable hanger and on the last pass you hang it on there then clip it on for tidy storage. The liquid is annoying but argos came up clutch and amazon. They do the 1.4L 1 and 2 which is nice as the ones that come with it are tiny haha.
This reminds me you never did a demonstration video of the Bissell big green only an unboxing, you can use any solution to clean your carpet as long as you don’t put it though the machines pump this is how you can get around the warranty on the machine and pre spray it on to the carpet using a pump up spray bottle one the warranty is up you can put it in the machines tank
Correct. Mix the shampoo in a chemical sprayer and spray it down and agitate it into the carpet with a rubber broom/scrubber and then just use the machine with hot tap water to rinse an extract. Leaving the soap shampoo in the tubing is what rots it out and causes it to leak or deteriorate )the rubber is porous). You can buy new tubing at the hardware store, but best to avoid making that a ritual.
do you think you could get hold of an aeg/electrolox t8 bagless? i dont know how old it is, i got gifted to me by my sister but is seems to be pretty strong and has a nifty design. would like you to review it
Do not do that. Laundry detergent is not designed for that. You are leaving soap in your carpet which will attract, mold and mildew and become a sticky sludge for dirt to collect onto.
Wow. I found this video to figure out how to use the one my Uncle just bought but now I'm worried that getting more Shark Solution will be hard to find if they don't have any out in stock sold anywhere by now
I cannot extract the wand from my new shark by pressing that tiny hole with a small screwdriver! It does not press in and release the wand no matter how hard we pull!!
I have to use the Shark shampoo for the demo as that is the one that Shark state you have to use. If I use any other brand for the demo and it does badly then people will blame the shampoo and also if it does very well, I will get comments saying you should have used the Shark solution. I was forced to use another brand of solution at the end of the demo as I had used up the small bottle Shark provided. The other brand of solution did foam up more than the Shark solution.
No you're right Roger. You do have to use the shampoo for the machine. The main reason why they tell you to only use their shampoo is because that every manufacturer puts different chemical compounds in their soaps and shampoos designed to work with the mechanics of that machine. That is not advertising, that is science. Certain soaps and shampoos can either foam too much, or be too thick or sticky for each machine and the way it feeds the solution through the machine and the diameter of tubing inside it. Different dilutions and compounds. The other part of it is insurance liability to protect them from lawsuits if you decide to dump ammonia or who knows what inside it and it destroys all the rubber or drips onto the motor and starts a fire. @@ibaisaic
If you look at my review you will see I wasn’t very happy with it and would not recommend it as it leaves too much solution in the carpet. I am not paid by Shark and I bought this with my own money.
To be honest I don’t think you need to use sharks carpet shampoo, with all the carpet cleaners I’ve had bissel vax etc, I just get whatever solutions on offer in the supermarket I’ve never had any issues. The manufacturers recommendation of using there solution is simply a con as you can’t put any in these,

@@huskyvacs yes I guess so, but I don’t get any excess foam in my BISSELL , I’ve used vax rugdoctor shampoo and many other makes and never had an issue with foam
Thank you for this tutorial! Especially showing us how you remove the Wand! I couldn’t find it anywhere, until I found your video. 👏👏👏

Your demo for the assembly of this vacuum is great. Thank you!

Decent looking attachments. Looking forward to seeing this in action!

Amazing video on how to assemble my new carpet expert. Didn't bother with the instruction manual to be honest. Thank you for this review 👍

Thanks!
I’ve been watching you since I was a little toddler. Keep up the good work! 👍
Well done l think I can do this after watching the video! Dixie

that's cool that you got one of those motorized display pedestal things, makes you look like you're hosting a game show lol
I’ve had it ages but forget to use it. The next time it appears I think I’ll wear a bikini while pointing at the vacuum and smiling.

Reminds me of the bissell crosswave? one of the accessories look's the same of bissell pet pro

Amazon has the carpet solution.
I put the handle into the tube vertically and it clicked in, but I want the handle to be in horizontally, I do I get it into horizontal position,
To recline the handle you put your foot on the cleaner head and pull the handle back. It won’t go fully horizontal.
I usua make my own carpet shampoo with laundry detergent and dish soap
Do not do that. Laundry detergent is not designed for that. You are leaving soap in your carpet which will attract, mold and mildew and become a sticky sludge for dirt to collect onto.

Does it work for dry cleaning?
No.
I have one of these, why has my comment been removed?
I have no idea. I haven’t removed your comment. I only remove comments that are insulting or contain swear words.
Might help if you link the next video in the description
You can click on the link at the end of the video where you will see my carpet washer playlist that contains the demonstration of this model.
Can't wait to see how terribly unrepairable these are especially considering how bad the Hoovers and Bissells in the segment are already.
When is this available in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Now. I live in the UK and I bought one from Very.co.uk.
I cannot extract the wand from my new shark by pressing that tiny hole with a small screwdriver! It does not press in and release the wand no matter how hard we pull!!
use zep , or make some oxy clean .
Shampoo is kinda universal, I'd just throw Bissel shampoo into it as I find it does the best job of any of the major carpet cleaner brands

Can I use it on rugs
Yes, but not rugs with a very long pile.
I’m thinking about getting one
Sounds like he is one of Sharks' sales assistant trying to sell these

Yeah it depends on the composition of the soap. @@max_dottie
That's insane not supplying the solution 😮
Just be sure not to thoroughly vacuum with a Shark vacuum before using this. LOL
Shame on you Shark
