I have a VT 2013, stage 2, IRL with coilovers, and Michelin sports. It is as good as the Veloster N. In many ways. I bought the car for 7k and only put 3k into it, to get a 32k version. That's why they are so expensive used atm. Got offered 12k for mine from a dealership in January of 2022🤷
Veloster is an amazing car, especially the turbo, but even the dual clutch SE model is a really good vehicle. I wouldn't go for the full base model cause it has no where near the awesome stuff the turbo or SE version have, but I've driven this car multiple times in REAL life, the SE version and it is amazing for the price to buy these things. Performance, looks, and interior are way nicer than civics or any other car within it's price range for that matter. Hyundai has really broke through into the performance and quality world of cars in the past few years, very reliable cars. Ps, the steering on this car is incredible

Its not a race car but i added a front strut brace, rear torsion bar and new tires. The handling is amazing. Stalk tires are total garbage. I don't know how accurate the game is though.

Enter the Veloster Turbo, whilst only having like 197hp from its 2.0L Turbo Four-banger still serves as a great daily driver for those who don't like SOHC VTEC engines. Yes, not every VTEC is SOHC, but point is, the Veloster works just like a Honda with near better quality.

Lol my Veloster kicks ass I beat a fucking Maserati with mine. It's beautiful and it get going with only 201hp They look clean as fuck. I break necks with mine. The handling kinda sucks but the rally edition actually fixed that.

well most race day engineers are going to disagree just ask Nissan about their FWD lmp. In the real world this car needs the rear end to stay put as much as possible especially with that crap rear torsion beam suspension.
+RasticMonster You can't drift a FWD car. Drifting = controlling oversteer by putting power into the rear wheels. It's called lift off oversteer if the back of your FWD car breaks out. The way you do it is you shift down, release the clutch, brake and steer and let the rear break out. You simply regain control by flooring the gas and get the weight back to the rear wheels. If you want to stay in the slide just keep braking the car on the engine. This technique is why FWD cars are stupid fast on small (karting) tracks or slaloms...much faster than a comparable RWD car.
Also he called it torque steer cause he's using the wheels side ways nearly 90 degrees using torque from the engine to steer done it twice in the rain to avoid crashes American highways are crazy
