Surprised you haven’t mentioned Sword Cane. It’s no opportunity cost evade with will asset in hand slot. Or the last damage ping for 3hp enemies that doesn’t waste a spell charge. I may be wrong on this one, but it never didn’t perform for me
Hmm... I think I lumped it in with the test-head arcane assets and forgot to actually mention it. It's definitely a very good card, and meaningfully different to the other assets enough that it deserved its own space. Typically our mystics gravitate away from fighting, and our teams gravitate away from evading, and the net effect of all that is that sword cane gets underplayed at my table so it just slipped my mind.
@@RatherIncoherentmakes sense. We play exclusively duo and Sword Cane allows us to use the evade strategy for retaliate elite management for example, without having high agility character
Ward (2) would be very close to if not the top of my expereinced mystic card list. Ward 0 has a lot of issues. Often times a card, a resource, and a horror is actually worse than the fail of a mythos card. Not being able to target your teammates and guarantee that it converts to something very valuable leaves you at the whim of the bag. It's not a bad card, but I find it is tremendously often just sitting in my hand, doing nothing, while I lament mystic's lack of draw and dig through my deck for the cards I actually want.
Predictions for rogue, in no particular order: 1.leo de luca 2.lucky cigarette case 3.well connected 4.you handle this one 5.faustian bargain 6.sleight of hand 7.watch this 8.quick thinking 9.double or nothing 10.embezzled treasure
I will not spoil which ones you got right, but you have: 4 cards correct, and 1 placement correct. I actually re-recorded the video, and originally you would've had 1 more card correct. Also, double or nothing would be my #1 but due to taboo it doesn't exist.
I guess Leo, Cigarette, Faustian and You handle this one are the right cards and Lucky Cigarette Case is in the right spot. Also I was surprised Ward of Protection didn't quite make the cut.@@RatherIncoherent
It definitely deserved an honorable mention since I had those lol. For me, the issue w/ Ward 0 is that I so often hold it for certain cards that I never draw. Spending a resource, card, and horror is often times roughly approximate to a lot of mythos tests on a fail. Without the team wide targeting, I find Ward 0 to often just sit in my hand all scenario. @@Monsieur_E
I love Uncage the Soul. Economy at it's best, Guts at it's worst. I'm always torn with Scroll of Secrets. I play with people who are casual with Arkham so I don't force the taboo on them, but it's so bad with it's original printing...

Any reason Ward of Protection isn’t here? Does the Deny Existence slot count for both?

Doesn't Arcane Initiate deserve a spot on this list?
I'll try some rogue prédiction to:

3. Lucky Cigarette Case
4. Quick Thinking
5. Breaking and Entering
6. Intel Report
7. Friend in Low Places
8. Streetwise
9. Nimble
10. Backstab
