Where has this girl been my whole life?! Her placement is perfection for a belt. She is spot on with every last note she hits. To top that off, she doesn't riff, which to me, means she's a purist and let's the music speak for itself. Perfection.
In my opinion, Willemijn Verkaik is the best Elphaba. But Alison is on a close second place for me! Love them both so much and they’re talented as hell.
I saw Allison twice as Elphaba. I’ll always appreciate her flawless performance. It’s part of what made me fall in love with Broadway musicals, especially Wicked.!
This woman is amazing. I got to have the privilege of working as an usher at a theatre in Minneapolis back when she was in the tour and got to see almost all of her performances while she was there. Goosebumps every single time during this song and “No Good Deed.” She is amazing. (Also gives the best hugs. Haha. Yay stage door!)
Bridie Molloy Agreed, she was fantastic. She deserved much better and more credit. Her vocals and acting are spot on and amazing. She should be in Broadway (in my opinion)
i have literally never, EVER, heard Alison Luff reach for a note. she hits them. every time. perfectly. the talent is just THERE.
That was the most perfect high F I have ever heard any Elphaba hit. Ever.

Cmon!! That note was ridiculously spot on....
I can´t believe it.
I know! Every time I hear that part I get chills!! It is spot on!!
Ernesto Alarcón she is a superhero I swear to god
Her high F is perfect! She is amazing, such a powerhouse!

Her vocals sound so healthy wow.
What I love about alison is that she really shows emotion in her performance and that is something that is rare in a lot of elphies.
her voice is the most buttery voice i’ve ever heard omg she is so freaking phenomenal
She didn't get the credit she was due. Amazing vocals.
She has a stunning voice- and love the intensity!
How I wish that there was a studio quality recording of this to buy!!!
Yes, the creaking seat was making me laugh!
Alison Luff is one of the most talented Broadway stars of this time!
SHE HAS THE BEST TONE
She's one of the few people who can belt with so much anger and intensity but who's voice can still stay so clear and smooth
I truly believe that Allison is the best Elphaba we've ever seen
Bill McCracken i prefer alison
When I think of the ideal Elphaba tone, Allison’s immediately comes to mind. It’s not heavy. It’s not nasal. It just...is.
In my opinion, Willemijn Verkaik is the best Elphaba. But Alison is on a close second place for me! Love them both so much and they’re talented as hell.
@@savannahgibbons6349 Well, Elphaba is supposed to be heavy, 'cause, you know, Wicked Witch of the West...
@@gomesbandrey Wicked is before she’s truly the Wicked Witch of the West, so I don’t see your point.

Her along with Mamie Parris are probably the most deserving of a broadway run.
Kody Abarr & Jemma Rix if she’d come over

Bridie Molloy Agreed, she was fantastic. She deserved much better and more credit. Her vocals and acting are spot on and amazing. She should be in Broadway (in my opinion)
Mac Larson agree she should've been on Broadway with Wicked
her phrasing of words is still a little strange, but her vocals are AMAZING.
Agreed. Not a fan of her "hoooWAAAAH" battle cry, but that F is *stupid* good.
@@IMournTheWicked055 the battle cry is the only thing i don't like i can't believe she didn't do the role on Broadway
