Maruti Suzuki is number one in Cars retail sales from very beginning, after year even after they cut off their Diesel engine option. And, that became possible because of the small entry level cars portfolio of Maruti Suzuki. Celerio is one out of those small Hatchbacks which is small but looks stunning at the same time. The New Celerio design is quite impressive, which somewhere seems just like maruti's another car "The Swift". The best thing is along with the Petrol Option celerio also has a bifuel option of Petrol + CNG.

Variants & Colours
The New Maruti Celerio has four Variants available with single fuel option (Petrol) - LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ and only one variant has CNG option which is VXI trim. All these Variants will be available with 5 gear Manual Transmission.
New Celerio also has AGS (Auto Gear Shift) Transmission available in three Variants - VXI (only single fuel option), ZXI and ZXI +
New Celerio comes with Six colour options - Speedy Blue, Glistening Grey, Arctic White, Silki Silver, Solid Fire Red and Caffeine Brown.
Powertrain of Celerio
New Celerio has a very refined K10C type 3 cylinder engine which produces the power of 67ps @5500rpm and 89nm torque @3500rpm for the single fuel option (Petrol)
If Someone opts for the CNG variant in that case the same K10C CNG engine will produce different power and torque for CNG and Petrol. On Petrol drive this engine will produce the power of 65ps@5500rpm and torque of 89nm @3500rpm but on CNG drive you will get 57ps of maximum power @5300rpm and torque of 82.1nm @3400rpm.
The fuel economy figures will make you happy as the ARAI figure of Petrol with Manual Transmission is 25.24kmpl and 26.00kmpl for Auto gear shift. The ARAI figures for CNG is 35.60km per KG.

I bought vxi variant..Here are some pro and cons that i observed in a month (700km driven)
* Pros
Looks, space, fuel economy, smooth ride
*Cons
No grab handle , 1.0 ltr engine, very basic instrument cluster, no remote key

on road cost should not be more than 6.20 lakh... 6.50 lakh okay if they give some more features like adjustable headrest and steering mounted controls.
