My biggest fragrance declutter yet. The earthquake made me really think about how much I spend on stuff and how in a blink of an eye, it can all collapse ! I want to break my hoarding tendencies. Lately, I've been decluttering stuff around my house too. Maybe I'll give a room tour soon!

Hi, Tita, first time watching your videos!!! During an earthquake, the ONLY thing you should do, is MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT YOURSELF FIRST, nothing else matters, only you and your loved ones. Perfumes come second. Take it from me, a fellow perfume lover / addict / "junkie"......!!!!!! As much as I love my perfumes, even though they are many and quite expensive, I would never think of protecting them first, instead of myself, or family members. ALWAYS make sure you take cover DURING an earthquake - I should know, I'm Greek, living in Greece is a real "pain" when it comes to earthquakes, almost the entire country is an earthquake zone, we get them ALL THE TIME, and we have gotten used to it, a 4.4 earthquake is very common here, unfortunately, it doesn't even get us out of bed, it would have to be a 5.5 at least to worry us, but when it is, then , of course we take cover without thinking of anything else. That's why I keep all my fragrances in their boxes, in safe places, nowhere high, and even in cardboard boxes, on the floor......!!!! You are so right! A couple days after the earthquake, I kept worrying about my stuff and perfume bottles. I decided to do a major declutter around my house as well and downsize on stuff. My goodness, mid 4s are common in Greece?! I'm used to 2s or 3s but 4's I'm panicking lol We gotta keep the shoes by the bed at night in case we need to run quick😅
@@titamcfrizzy Yeah, Tita, unfortunately mid 4s or 5s are quite common in Greece, our beautiful country gets the most earthquakes in Europe, annually.... We can feel them even in Athens, the capital, where I live. As for 2s or 3s, we get those almost daily, somewhere around the country, we don't even feel them, we hear about them on the news !!!!! When we get mid 4s, we don't even bother to get out of bed, let alone run out of the house !!!!! If it's a big one, though, well, that's different - in that case we take cover and wait for it to stop, then, it depends, we may run out, or just stay inside the house !!!! I understand why you feel worried, obviously you're not used to getting many earthquakes where you live !!!! Try not to panick !!!!! Think of your own safety first - as for your perfume bottles, try to keep them safe by storing them in their own boxes, maybe even in cardboard boxes, on the floor, like I do - never store them anywhere high. I know they look much prettier when they're displayed on shelves like yours, I wish I could have mine displayed as well, but, living in an earthquake zone and expecting to get regular earthquakes, leaves me no choice!!!

You did good! I did the same end of 2023 because I was moving and diddnt want to move 50 fragrances.
Now I' pregmant I decluttered even more! I can't stand anything coconut or 'too much' . They made me so sick that I just sold them 🤣😅 Now I have +-15 scents left and more room for the baby stuff!
