That's why I try to be sceptical when fragrance TH-camrs rave about a fragrance. It's part of the online marketing, so I try to stop myself from buying anything unless I can smell it first.
That absolutely is the wise thing to do! I did have a sample of Levant before I bought it and I did like it. But my mind just thought I loved it when I really didn’t.
If I had smelled the exact same fragrance in another bottle of another non-hyped brand for a cheaper price, I probably wouldn’t have picked it up. Just goes to show how I still seem to be prone to getting influenced by marketing.. and youtube 😌
@@ScentCity Yeah, I've been influenced too and regretted it, so I try to be careful. When I smell a hyped-up frag myself, I'm often disappointed, so I try to be reasonable, but I agree, sometimes it's hard to resist the temptation. :)

So do I! I watch them all the time as it helps to realize it’s ok to not love all the fragrances and especially the hyped ones. That’s what inspired me to make my own declutter video 😀
I have Someday Sometimes and although I like to sniff it from the bottle, it is also very sharp and too invasive. Never wear it.
@@ScentCity I saw a guy,he spend 10.000$ during 2 years for fragrances🤔and he gave an advice, isn't nessesary to have a full bottle,you can only snif it,or only have a sample or travel semple.I think he is right🤩the most playfull thing is to discover new scents but without pressure always to buy the scent😍

I love someday sometimes and I have 4 big bottles of it 😅 even if I don’t use it anymore for my body now, I like to spray it in my wardrobe and in my bedroom or even in my bag 🥰 and I think someday the time will come to wear it again 😌 Thank you for the great video!! 🫶🌷

I decluttered cherry smoothie too,it's nice but didn't use it much. My brother said it smells like candle and since then I couldn't unsmell it as well🤭

I have Rose Gourmand and I like it but don’t love it but I only have the small bottle so I will keep it and wear it sometimes since my collection is small. I really like Gentle Fluidity Gold but don’t have a bottle yet. Please do a Mango fragrance video. I would love to hear about their offerings. I really enjoy watching your videos.
No...not Ylang in Gold....that was one of the first niche fragrances I've ever bought and it's survived all my declutters. It's so perfectly beautiful!!!!!

Als ik erover nadenk wat ik kan ‘terug verdienen’ is het eigenlijk stom om aan vast te houden, maar vind het lastig om iets los te laten..
I did the same with Cherry Smoothie and Rose Gourmand. Bot SO hyped, so weirdly hard to part with, but ultimately both not for me. I actually just donated them both to a local charity, plus a few more.

Not at the moment, I don’t know how to discover them as they are nowhere sold where I live. Buying them online would just be too costly right now as I can’t return them after trying :(

I'm with you on cloud. To me it smelled like gummy bears or bubble gum which is not bad and it's ok for like an eraser or something lol but I wouldn't want to smell like that. I'm at the beginning of my scent journey and I find that I lean towards either flower fragrances, molecular or... Let's say odd interpretations (the more it makes me think about "what does this smell like???" The better)
Also have someday sometimes and i agree that it is quite heavy. I usually only spray once when i wear it, otherwise, it can feel too much.

There is no perfume that i sniffed at the store bought it and ended up hating and decluttered it, only the blindbuys have been a fail for me

I am so with you on Ylang and Gold! There is a weird note I don’t care for. Only in the deep dry down do I get the banana custard people describe but it takes too long to get there. Not worth it.

I knooow 😂 I kinda just wanna keep it just to keep it, even though I will never wear it 🥲 I might do that.. but then again I don’t like just having stuff in my house that I don’t use so it’s a constant struggle 😂 I haven’t posted it to sell yet so I’m waiting until time gives me answers on what to do with it 😀

I think the only fragrance that could knock Ylang in Gold out of its number one spot in my collection is YSL Capeline. Love them both!!!
Totally feel the same way about coconut frags …I’m so enticed by the scene that plays out in my mind when someone describes their notes 🎶- but really, how often do I really want to smell like that?? That said, I DO own a few, with which I need to spend a little time AND declutter 😂

Vinted en marktplaats! Die laatste is wel iets lastiger gezien ik geen betaalverzoeken kan sturen of aanvaarden. Ik ben Belgische en heb enkel een Belgische bank, die je niet kan koppelen. Maar ik heb al wel kopers gehad die het bedrag gewoon naar me overmaken, al begrijp ik het wel dat sommigen zich daar niet zo goed bij voelen

Totally understand, and I still think it’s one of, if not THE best Zara fragrance for women ever made. But sometimes the head and heart just have different preferences and my heart said ‘this isn’t you’ 🥲
I love Someday Sometimes too. I have one bottle that I'm keeping it for colder weather. It's a pity it was discontinued. At the moment Zara brought back 4 fragrances from that line, but unfortunately not this one. :(

You're right about Someday Sometimes being one of the best Zara perfumes. It's probably my second favourite to Golden Decade.

I have the Armani Mania (wht cap) and first I was very disappointed like you, it's a citrusy and creamy Nivea type of scent (but light, not thick), I was going to immediately declutter it espesh that it's extremely pricey now. But over time I got addicted to it and now it's a huge love, it's so enveloping and cosy, sophisticated, def mature. Hearing you talking about the Absolute I think these two are prob quite similar, so if you didn't like Absolute do not pay those huge prices for Armani Mania, as you might not like it.

Omg ..somebody who agrees with me on ylang in gold ....it smelss like bug spray , hate it so much and unfortunately it was an expensive blind buy - at the higher price 😭😭😭

Around 70 and I still don’t like that number. Funny, I was actually thinking of decluttering an additional 20 fragrances to have a nice number of 50. But I don’t know if I can part ways with them just yet 😅.

I have decluttered Zara Rose Temeraire, Go Fruity, Powdery Magnolia, Eclat (Dupe) Not a perfume, a love dont be shy perfume oil (I dont like oils I think), Galimard Bois de lune and L‘ete derniere, Apiarium Vaniglia e Mandorla and two Bodysprays from the Drugstore brands Balea and Isana.. Lush Snowfairy (will use it for my car), Korres Cashmere Kumquat, The essence vault (Dupe) Black Opium, Galimard Plumetis, Eclat Yes I am, Zara red temptation elexir, Femme, Cherry Smoothie, Amber in bloom and Amber Satin…

Yes most of them i sell, some of them i pass on to friends :)
I think start steering away from rose perfumes haha many declutters are rose dominated
