I agree with this claim, an important edition of some of my favourite stupendium songs would be “milk milk lemonade”, “vending machine of love” and of course, “why did I say okie doki”
Something that I really like about Nook line and sinker is how the backing is similar to “your obedient servant” from Hamilton and the reference to it with the whole “so you call me amoral? Is that what you think.”
Sad that my favorite line from Shine Through got missed. I mean, “Things might RGB bad today, but everything will be CMY-oK,” just makes me unreasonably happy. That said, Stup has so many banger lines it’s hard to remember all of them.

@MezephelesArt yeah! Cells No More, it's a rap about Alice Angel and Chapter 3. It's totally underrated, their bendy song with the least amount of attention. But the lyrics game is on point as usual XD
The data stream : "The supplie doesn't get to make the demand" and "Thinking outside that box that you checked" Nooks Line & Sinker : "Read between the lines and you might find the margins."
They've got to be one of my favorite artists ever. Kinda wish they'd put out some shorter songs though, love me a good long one but it'd be nice to have some bite sized options too.
I'd like to contribute with that one line from the DDLC song "But i could never harm monica, so i guess im trappped here forever, wheres my harmonica?"
I feel like They/Them fits Stup much more because they're not just one person- they're THE Stupendium. There isn't another, there's only one, and it's not just a person- the Stupendium is an experience that cannot be contained. Go Stupendium!
Personally I'm a big fan of "My beats bring the heat cuz I'm a sweet double-jumper" from The Most Fashionable Faction Jumpers are what Brits call sweatshirts, so two of them would make you extra warm Scout can double jump Genius tbh
i cant believe you forgot about the absolute mastery of the line that is “raccoon in a tie that racked up a tycoon, can’t handle my mess? you’d best stick with splatoon” from nook line and sinker. a testament to how theyre genuinely one of the greatest musicians ive ever heard when it comes to wordplay
The hook is almost always the best part of any Stupendium song, but these lyrics are very clever. Also, I just noticed that at 13:12 Stupes says "salvation" but the lyrics says "starvation"
Top 10 of my favorite Stupendium Songs 10. Ark and the Tinderbox 9. Art of Darkness 8. Production Line 7. Shelter From the Storm 6. Data Stream 5. Tune into the Madness 4. Don’t let the bellhops bite 3. House always wins 2. Vault 76 Special Spot: Little Theorizing, Two Point Hospital, Two point campus 1. The Fine Print
Additional personal picks: Societal ideals are reliably pliable So the rise of a tyrant becomes entirely viable You'll find that the spying is really quite justifiable *Why are you crying when it's your blind eye that's liable?* (Bars) Your contribution's absolution for the guilt within you all Our movement may be new but all your sins are still original Let your faith remain unshaken in our monastery's beliefs You’ve no claim to consecration when there’s coffers to be greased That's all, thanks
I never listened to that one because it said in the description that it was based on real world stuff and I just can't take it right now. If it's really that good, I might have to power through it
@@MezephelesArt I mean it references real events, and the whole thing is just a satire on southern mega churches. If it helps, I don't see it as being any more or less real than, say... "The Production Line" is towards capitalism.
@@MezephelesArt "Gospel of the Geiger" is based on the Church of Atom from the Fallout games. It starts with a dreary little church service ("Atomic Mass", according to the sign outside) where a priest of Atom is leading their small flock in prayer - until they get to the point where everyone's supposed to drink some of the glowing water as a sort of eucharist, when the entire group just sits there. So they take a chem that promises to increase Charisma, and starts singing a gospel tune about their beliefs... There are specific references in the lyrics to Fallout 3 (the bomb in Megaton, which serves as an Atomite church) as well as Fallout 4 (the Glowing Sea) and the Fallout 4 DLC Far Harbor (the Fog, a radioactive mist that falls across parts of the island and which the people of Far Harbor blame on the Atomite church in a nearby pre-War submarine base with a decaying sub in drydock - also, after the priest takes his last dose of the chem they're dressed in a light-up version of the High Confessor's outfit from the base).

"if it's true the Pen is stronger than the sword, what am I supposed to do when the Pen declares a war?" - Cells No More
Wait which one is Cells No More is there an entire song whose existence I was never aware of
@MezephelesArt yeah! Cells No More, it's a rap about Alice Angel and Chapter 3. It's totally underrated, their bendy song with the least amount of attention. But the lyrics game is on point as usual XD
*their Bendy song
@@MezephelesArt oops, fixed that!
The data stream : "The supplie doesn't get to make the demand" and "Thinking outside that box that you checked"
Nooks Line & Sinker : "Read between the lines and you might find the margins."
Their lyrics are always filled with such clever word play!
I'm surprised this didn't feature the animation artists section from find the keys
stupendium is the best musician 100%
They’re seriously a genius lyricist
They're literally a lyrical genius and I only wish to harness a fraction of their talent in my life 😭😭
So glad AD INFINITUM was included, wouldn't be complete without it
They've got to be one of my favorite artists ever. Kinda wish they'd put out some shorter songs though, love me a good long one but it'd be nice to have some bite sized options too.
I'd like to contribute with that one line from the DDLC song "But i could never harm monica, so i guess im trappped here forever, wheres my harmonica?"
Y'all caught me, this is absolute art
I feel like They/Them fits Stup much more because they're not just one person- they're THE Stupendium. There isn't another, there's only one, and it's not just a person- the Stupendium is an experience that cannot be contained. Go Stupendium!
The entire video 'adequate wordsmith' is evidence enough of stupendium being a genius
There's a reason I got three clips from it in a video where the initial goal was one per song
the entirety of Byron brimstones segment was just stellar bars, also Mr. pages was out of this world
I love how there’s just some gay parts sometimes. Also shelter from the storm and ark and the tinderbox , the sequel , go HARD.
Also the clauneck bit in wool over our eyes is absolutely perfect
Personally I'm a big fan of "My beats bring the heat cuz I'm a sweet double-jumper" from The Most Fashionable Faction
Jumpers are what Brits call sweatshirts, so two of them would make you extra warm
Scout can double jump
Genius tbh
The amount of train puns in "The End of the Line" was like an endless 1-2 punch the first time i heard it
more like a one-choo punch (im so sorry)
my favorite queer icon
you could put the entirety of any song in here
(mainly the engineer part of fashionable faction there’s a reason that has stuck in my mind fully)
i cant believe you forgot about the absolute mastery of the line that is “raccoon in a tie that racked up a tycoon, can’t handle my mess? you’d best stick with splatoon” from nook line and sinker. a testament to how theyre genuinely one of the greatest musicians ive ever heard when it comes to wordplay
Really hope they end up writing something about I Am Your Beast, that's a game that deserves this level of word-play.
Nah, this is Stupendium only using 1% of their brain, we can't even comprehend what 1000% would possibly look like
1:00 what song is this?
"A purpose for New London", their Frostpunk collab with Dan Bull
@ k thx I was trying to figure that out so I could add it to my playlist
the ENTIRETY of AD INFINITUM is so good
Aka: All of Stupe’s hits compacted in one video….ft Dan Bull.
woawww i almost screamed when i saw fiend like me ,,, no. 1 fiend like me fan ever … trust… anyways i love this video
The hook is almost always the best part of any Stupendium song, but these lyrics are very clever. Also, I just noticed that at 13:12 Stupes says "salvation" but the lyrics says "starvation"
Ad infurium is like if you mixed a hyper speed black hole into a bop song
"the trains not just cancelled its damn deplatformed"
I didn't know that one holy shit lol
If you do another one of these and make a community post asking for suggestions I would be all over that
Made the post. Nobody responded to it :(
Actually thats some pretty solid evidence- RENEE DESCARTES??????
????
I already listen to stupendum but I found songs I didn't know of watching this!

Their voice! 😍
not gonna lie, I sang along to a few of these I listened to religiously-
add the entirety of chairman of the board and this video is true peak
Additional personal picks:
Societal ideals are reliably pliable
So the rise of a tyrant becomes entirely viable
You'll find that the spying is really quite justifiable
*Why are you crying when it's your blind eye that's liable?* (Bars)
Your contribution's absolution for the guilt within you all
Our movement may be new but all your sins are still original
Let your faith remain unshaken in our monastery's beliefs
You’ve no claim to consecration when there’s coffers to be greased
That's all, thanks
I imagine part 2 is just a re-upload of Gospel of a Geiger
I never listened to that one because it said in the description that it was based on real world stuff and I just can't take it right now. If it's really that good, I might have to power through it
@@MezephelesArt I mean it references real events, and the whole thing is just a satire on southern mega churches. If it helps, I don't see it as being any more or less real than, say... "The Production Line" is towards capitalism.
part 2 is all the other bits not shown (it is 10 hours long, featuring even the credit talks because those are usually good too)
@@AudreyKey9653TPL sent me into a suicidal spiral the first and only time I listened to it so I think I'll have to avoid
OMG
A STUPENDIUM COMPILATION?!
Still insane to me how they mashes all those words together in Ad Infitum so well.
They*
They’re the lyrical genius of our times.
