No is not the pastor's business the job of a pastor is to feed is to feed us the word of God and lead us to God. Alot of these pastors just have a controlling spirit. I am a minister of the gospel I have seen alot of pastors ruin potential marriages due to their lack of not praying for the person. No third party will be involved in my relationship or even in my marriage. Counsel is good but if the counsel is leading me away from God’s will for my life I will not listen. Also God knows me more than I know myself, no pastor knows me more tvan I know myself.
If you listen well to the podcast, you would find out that the role of any pastor in a relationship is to counsel you not control your relationship. The decision is yours to make, Just like Pastor Dami stated. Yes I understand where you are coming from but since you have a relationship with God, ask Him to direct you to the pastor to be accountable to. I hope this helps.
This is what you wrote “A Pastors business is to feed us the word of God” right? Of what use then is the word of it can't penetrate into our marriages and daily living? Yes its the Pastor's business to feed us the word, that word should have effects in our relationships too.
