    If there were not whole video complications of him just sitting as other peoples videos play or walking away for long periods while other peoples videos play I might have some small bit of sympathy for him. However, he is just a pampered child who thinks he matters because the internet enabled him.

    As a person who works in a warehouse as sanitation, the other workers 100% DO definitely look down on the sanitation crew. Not only do I have a first hand experience from my current job but I also worked as sanitation for Disney and Seaworld. You get treated differently and seen as lower not only by workers who aren’t sanitation but also the guests. ALSO it’s a common trope in movies and shows even to this day that janitorial or sanitation jobs are seen as lower. It doesn’t matter how much they make it’s about the respect aspects. You can make a ton of money but at the end of the day you are seen as lower (mostly subconsciously) by others.

      Me personally, I wouldn’t care. If I’m making more money than you I can’t feel bad about myself because my position is “lower” than someone else’s. I always have the upper hand.

      @@agentsbigassforeheadOh trust me I feel the same way. I don’t let it get to me at all but to my understanding, being in sanitation jobs is seen by others (usually) as lower. Whether that be subconsciously or not. I feel like it’s known between sanitation workers this mindset from others.

      @@R34P3RGames Man, when I worked Amazon I was honestly envious of the janitors because they made $25 an hour and I made $16. Oh how I would’ve busted ASS if they paid me that well. Sad some people don’t have the same mindset.

      Truth. I just recently left a job where I was cleaning a huge gym by myself for 10 an hour. It was three floors and on my shift I was responsible for cleaning every machine and room except for the women's locker room etc. My relationship with coworkers and most supervisors was fine because they were usually in the areas I worked on. The problem i had was doing all that work alone for 10 an hour and the few supervisors who would often complain about me missing certain things as I run around the building nonstop for hours.

    The tax bracket thing is absolutely true. I've had to work overtime, which caused me to pay more in taxes and basically removed the time and a half overtime pay. You end barely making more than if you hadn't worked the overtime.

    • @DiscoPvPMegaWalls
      @DiscoPvPMegaWalls 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't believe that's how our tax system works. If I'm correct, you're only taxed at a higher rate on the portion that went over into the next tax bracket. I've heard this before though, so I'd love to hear your perspective/opinion!

    • @garyshaver1945
      @garyshaver1945 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @DiscoPvPMegaWalls maybe if you get paid weekly it doesn't, but bi-weekly it absolutely does. I've worked at the same company for 12 years and we have full time employees and Temps. Some of the full time and Temps make the same per hour, but the Temps get paid weekly and full time bi-weekly. The Temps actually make more after taxes than the full timers.

      This very true, papa gut is wrong. The point is that when u earn more u end up in a different bracket. The percentage that they take is higher. Example 40 hours = $900 . If you work 60 hours = $1200 after deducting . He is saying that difference for 20 hour more of work is just $300 more because they took more in your taxes. So is not that u dint get more money its that is not worth it.

      @@garyshaver1945disco is correct. on your stub the amount that gets taxed is based on an estimation of your tax bracket based on OT hour rates, but it is given back when you file your taxes to the rate that matches your tax bracket to match real income. when i did a lot of OT some years i would get 8k back due to them taking too much when it gets deducted per paystub.

    4:37 THANK YOU! I was thinking this throughout the whole Britney discussion and it was never brought up really. People aren’t mad that he’s just complaining (although it would still be stupid in most eyes because he literally watches like Master Chef and leaves for however long) they are mad at the fact he specifically said “Streaming is soul sucking unlike a normal job”. (His “context” he wants everyone to see) He’s comparing the two, proving he has absolutely no clue how to function a 9-5 “normal job”.

      not really if thats true u would have alot of guys in that field of profession. biggest problem is the education that we see now. i remember how my mother told me that i have to learn or i'll end up as an construction worker ... what happend i worked as an construction worker why because i like to work with my hands and build something. but these things are education that tells u all the time that u have to work in the office as an technician or engineer. and i see the problem with that now you have alot of this called educated people that are better left at the construction/machinig cause they are stupid af and do mistakes all the time because they are not made to think. respect maybe comes now after the world saw the we donmt have enough plumbers ;D

    As someone who was mainly doing TH-cam between 2020 - 2022, I was forced to get a regular job so that I could take care of my wife after suffering a debilitating illness. I have now been working at UPS for a year and a half and I enjoy working. I think more content creators should normalize getting a regular job and treating TH-cam as supplemental income. A normal 9-5 is clearly more soul draining, challenging and stressful than streaming by a long shot, for majority of people. I think if you go high enough in attention, the mental stress of being constantly criticized is much more difficult than a regular job but if you have mental toughness, this barrier is almost non-existent. What you will never be able to do is make as much money as these streamers, no matter how hard you work at that job and that alone is soul crushing and suicide inducing.

    When you work overtime you can be placed into a higher tax bracket (it said this at the bottom of what you searched) and I believe this is what preach meant by OT mathematics.
    The amount of money you worked for is withheld from you and you wont see it until refund time. (Apparently some don’t see their money from what I’ve heard) Effectively making it pointless if you live and or expect money on a monthly basis. The most important thing is being placed into the lowest part of the next tax bracket. Aba mentions that streamers don’t have that issue and get paid in an actual way that’s beneficial because they won’t just change tax brackets on a whim and having the luxury of choosing their own schedule (Aba mentions this) kinda supports his subsequent statements.
    TLDR: OT can push them into the lowest
    part of the next bracket and that money being held off sucks when you aren’t expecting it.
    Some people also just get fucked and can’t get the OT with circumventions from the employer or whatever.

Having a Porsche is cool and they not super expensive, but outside of the whole ‘oh look and my sick car what’s the point

    i wasn't listening super closely to the tax yelling part, but a good comparison is a salaried worker that ends up working overtime. If i am salaried (exempt from overtime pay) making $52,000 a year, my hourly rate is $25/hr. but every single hour I work beyond the expected 40 hr workweek effectively reduces my pay rate. Now, working 50 hours per week, but still not eligible for overtime because i'm salaried, my hourly rate is now effectively $20/hr for the exact same work. but that's not about taxes n shizzz
