You are probably aware, that when you create any mesh in Blender, you have options available only right after the creation. If you do anything else (even just deselect the object) the options are gone.
Well, this addon ties the settings with the mesh itself and you can edit them at any point.

One of the good sides of 3ds now in Blender, that's a great addition.
I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Check for Maxviz addons for some more familiar behaviors.

it also gives more flexibility when doing booleans, for example.
it's easy to change the objects if afterward you need more or less geometry on the objects.
Exactly what I needed. Ditching 3ds Max became that much easier. Thank you! I will gladly support the creator of the add-on once I transition to Blender fully. I'm still learning it in my spare time. 🙂

Great, for people that don't know how to instal, download the ZIP from the Github page then go to Blender and "Edit", "preferences", "addons", "instal" at the top. And that's it no need to unpack.

You should try BSMAX (completely free) it's way superior to this since you can draw any primitives at the location of your cursor and you can edit the parametrics values even after you get in edit mode and as a bonus all primitives are animatables. Plus there is a legion of other tools in that amazing and underrated addon like a proper align tool, clone array tool and many more!
That you for showing that! The screw is quick and in quads but the screw modifier gets the job done. Animating mesh properties, can't think of a case use for it. Maybe that's my lack of imagination. Struggling to put it on a par with looptools.

There used to be an addon called animall that would allow animation while in edit mode. It was great.

I've learned the hard way, check the add-ons support before buying. This offers no support links that I can find and has not been updated for 6 years. That's a long time blender has greatly changed in 6 YEARS
