The force structure of the 75th is much more like a conventional light infantry unit compared to other Special Operations units. This wouldn't make sense for other Special Operations units to do simply considering force structure.
kinda the point, the rangers are an elite infantry unit, not paramilitary. for example green berets do espionage and train guerillas/fight very surgically, rangers are just highly trained infantryman who do infantry things just on another level

They’ve been doing trenches since like, 2015/16 I want to say. It’s not new but there has been a shift in focus towards trenches and bunkers.
The entire Army is shifting towards LSCO. It's not uncommon for platoons to carry things like dronebusters and practice red air drills.
Almost realistic, that is until the artillery barrage makes an untimely appearance.
