Brilliant instructions, thank you! My Swytch battery was not responding but by following your simple instructions to reset, it appears to be back working so I am grateful and will try it on my bike tonight.
I just bought the eco 35km swytch, then upgraded to 50 km. and I will def return here to do this when it gets here , around mid Sept this year. Thanks for sharing your info.
my Swytch Kit for the bike was delivered this afternoon but it's limited to 15mph, and was wondering if there was a way to go faster also like the cruse control will have to try that when it's all fitted up thanks for the tips
And something else that's useful… While doing that, leave your bike in kilometers and it will basically be correct in miles per hour whilst riding by choosing a 16 inch wheel (very close mph on display) Doing that makes my E bike go from around 20 mph, to around 24 mph just changing it to a 16 inch wheel… But I will add That it drains the battery much faster than normal
Yesterday I tried an electric Carrera via Halfords trial scheme. It was my first e-bike experience and I was fairly impressed power wise even though the bike was a poor fit for me. It was however, a very heavy bike compared to my standard Carrera 3. Do you feel that a Swytch conversion is a no brainer?
I would prefer a reasonable bike with a SWYTCH kit. It’s usually lighter overall. I also think it’s more versatile. Mine kit been on many bikes See my SWYTCH playlist.
Hi , ive got another question, so your swytch kit (im guessing its gen 1) has a screen, that shows your speed and you can do stuff like change the wheel size. The one that i ordered, the eco gen 2, doesnt have that screen. So does the screen only come with pro premiums?
@@Kawaii.panzer sure hold down the up and down arrows when the device is on for 2 seconds. Then you are in program mode and can alter settings...max speed, wheel size, max power, factory reset and crank rotation. Search swytch settings and there is a pdf with it all on. I lowered my max power to 60% and run it at US limit. My range is about 22-24 miles now on PA 2.
Hi, quick question. Been using the bike more this year and today notice when just using the throttle than there is intermittent traction/slippage. Any ideas?

Excellent video. Thanks for the great info. Thumbs up.
Yeah, my Brompton Swytch does like 16.6mph max even when set to 40kph. Which is also why they don't sell a 20mph USA set-up for it
good video thanks, i hope they keep the same reset wheel and speed setup on their new updated 2022 release today 👍
I just Googled it. Very cool.👍🏻

If it’s limited to uk speeds lowering the wheel size in the settings would be the only way I know to increase the speed
Great video, just read yours and others comments re: change of speed with Gen 2 pack, will give it a go👍
When pedaling my 26inch set to 16inch wheels with PA set to max and top to 20mph could get 23mph.
Before motor cut out I should add

Mine the speed limit is locked, i can't change. Would you know how to unlock it? Thanks
Not if this tip doesn’t work
I rebuilt my battery. Can I somehow reset the odometer?
I don’t know how

@@stillben How do you get the faster speed out of the gen 2 pack I've tried changing the top speed but all I can get is the 15mph
Update: works with new switch kits

Could be the contacts. I used carbon conductive grease where the battery pack clicks on to the handlebars.
leepspvideo Thanks Lee, greased up the contacts as described, but still slippage? Now logged it with Swytch
Is there anyway of unlocking the new swytch kits?
@@stillben you can change some settings
