Ohh Ha, missing trigger on the slasher at match point is harsh

It’s not a “may” trigger. They should have put it back

@@Eheth1958 Not how it works, if you miss your trigger, you missed it, it's on you to remember your own triggers, even if they are mandatory.
At most, if you miss your own trigger, you can call a judge and then the judge will ask your opponent if they want to put the trigger on the stack now, if they don't want to, it will not be put on the stack.
The are exceptions for detrimental triggers, but this was not the case here.

That's how it would work at an FNM or Prerelease, because those are judged at "Regular REL" (Rules Enforcement Level). Highly competetive events like this are judged at the harshest "Professional REL", which was done correctly here.

In this case “read the card it explains the card” doesn’t work unfortunately.
Especially if the other player had already done their card draw.
What’s interesting about this too though is that for the entire game up to that point Ha put the counters on with out even moving it to the grave yard. The one time he didn’t do that he missed the trigger. 😢
Sucks to suck. I feel bad for him TBH cause it was habit for him to put the counters without the graveyard and he missed it when it cost the most.

    Game 2
Commentator: Ha doesn't really have any card that can change the situation
    Rush of dread: exist
